2022 Cruiser RV Travel Trailer
The company was super easy to work with. Jay (owner) is super nice and communicative. The trailer was dropped off a few hours after the originally scheduled time. However, Caleb (driver) was awesome to work with and very accommodating. He came to pick up the trailer right on time which was very appreciated. We did rent it over 4th of July week so they were very busy. The trailer has a ton of extras that are provided which was really nice and made the trip really nice and convenient. Overall, I would use there services again.

2016 Ford Campervan
Hosts Rob & Lance are very friendly/knowledgeable. The Van is custom built by them and is functional & reliable. Bed super comfortable. Solar recharge system and battery bank worked great. The Ford engine & Transit chassis are well "broken in" but were super reliable. If you're a "first timer" especially make sure you understand how to operate the diesel heater, inverter, and camp stove.

I've never rented an RV before. Is Monett a good place to start?

Monett is a fantastic spot for first time renting an RV. Traffic is light, Highway 60 and Highway 37 are wide and well-maintained, and you are surrounded by easy destinations like Roaring River State Park and Table Rock Lake that do not require mountain-pass driving. Every RVezy host provides a full walkthrough at pickup covering water, propane, slide-outs, and the dump process, so you are never left guessing. Pick a smaller Class C motorhome or a campervan rental in Monett for your first trip, and consider booking a delivery option so the host handles setup. You will be amazed how quickly the nerves turn into confidence.

What happens if something breaks down during my Monett RV trip?

You are never alone on the road. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, covering things like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing. If something goes sideways while you are exploring the Ozarks or on a rural stretch of Highway 248, one phone call gets help dispatched. Your host is also typically just a text away to troubleshoot quirks specific to their RV. Pro tip: save the RVezy support number and your host's contact in your phone before you leave Monett, and snap photos of the dashboard and tire condition at pickup so you are covered if anything comes up.

Can I take my Monett RV rental to Arkansas, Oklahoma, or across state lines?

Yes, an RV road trip from Monett across state lines is one of the best parts of basing here. You are about 50 miles from Eureka Springs, Arkansas, about 90 miles from Bentonville, and roughly two hours from the Oklahoma border, all easy in a single day. Most hosts welcome multi-state travel within the U.S., just confirm your route when you message them. One important note: travel to Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage does not extend across that border. Pro tip: a loop through Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake makes an unforgettable long weekend.

What kind of fuel mileage and gas budget should I plan for?

Realistic expectations make for a happy trip. Class B campervans get 18 to 22 MPG, Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 MPG, and Class A motorhomes typically run 6 to 10 MPG. Travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle but expect 10 to 14 MPG. Missouri gas prices generally sit below the national average, which makes a cheap RV rental in Monett even more wallet-friendly. For a typical weekend loop to Branson and Table Rock Lake (about 150 miles round trip), budget $50 to $90 in fuel for a Class C. Pro tip: fill up in Monett or Aurora before heading into more remote stretches near Roaring River.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Monett?

Book Missouri State Parks campsites as early as possible. The reservation window opens up to a year ahead through the official Missouri State Parks system. Roaring River State Park is one of the most popular state parks in Missouri and its sites fill fast for the March 1 trout opener, Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day weekends. For private parks like Big Red Barn RV Park, 2 to 6 weeks ahead is usually enough outside peak weekends. Insider tip: midweek arrivals (Sunday through Wednesday) almost always have openings, even in summer.

What are the driving conditions like around Monett?

Driving around Monett is refreshingly straightforward. Highway 60 is a four-lane expressway that runs right through town, and Highway 37 connects you south toward Cassville and Roaring River. The Ozark roads get curvier and hillier as you head toward Eureka Springs or Branson, so take it easy and use lower gears descending. Watch for deer at dawn and dusk and be alert for severe thunderstorms in spring (Missouri's tornado season peaks April through June). Winter ice storms are rare but possible. Pro tip: check MoDOT Traveler Information before leaving for real-time road conditions across southwest Missouri.

Most private parks like Big Red Barn RV Park include 30/50 amp electric, water and sewer hookups, and Wi-Fi. Dump stations are widely available at state and private parks, often included for registered campers. Pro tip: top off your fresh water tank before you leave the campground for a day trip, and know that the closest big-box supplies are at the Walmart in Monett or Aurora.

RVezy hosts in Monett offer all kinds of helpful add-ons to customize your trip. Common options include kitchen kits, bedding packages, camping chairs and outdoor gear, generators, bike racks, and propane refills. How does payment and the security deposit work?

Payment is simple and secure through RVezy. You pay the rental cost upfront when you book using a credit or debit card directly on the platform, with no cash exchanged with the host. A security deposit is held separately (typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV) and released after your trip wraps up, assuming there is no damage or extra cleaning needed. The hold appears on your card but is not actually charged unless an issue comes up. To avoid surprises: do a thorough walkthrough video at pickup and dropoff, follow the host's fuel and dump-tank policy, and return the RV on time.
