Campgrounds and RV parks near Saint Croix, NB

Saint Croix sits in Charlotte County in southwestern New Brunswick, along the St. Croix River that forms the Canada-United States border. The area is within short driving distance of St. Stephen, St. Andrews by-the-Sea, and the Bay of Fundy coast, giving RV travellers access to tidal shorelines, coastal towns, and inland lake country from a single base. Most campgrounds in the immediate area are privately operated. Oak Bay Campground sits on a sheltered tidal inlet of the St. Croix River with full-hookup RV sites and waterfront tenting. Kiwanis Passamaquoddy Park at 550 Water Street in St. Andrews is directly on Passamaquoddy Bay and offers full-hookup sites with pull-through options, 30-amp electrical, water, and sewer connections. Island View Camping, Hilltop Campground, and Seaview Campground and Cottages round out the choices for families travelling by RV. Distances between sites are short, so switching campgrounds mid-trip is realistic without long transit days.

Private campgrounds in the Saint Croix area, including Oak Bay Campground, Island View Camping, Kiwanis Passamaquoddy Park, Hilltop Campground, and Seaview Campground and Cottages, each handle their own reservations. Booking is typically done directly by phone or through the campground's own website, and some list availability on third-party RV booking platforms. For summer weekends and long weekends, reserving four to eight weeks in advance is advisable, particularly for full-hookup and oceanfront sites, which turn over first. Deposits are commonly required at booking, and cancellation windows vary by operator. New Brunswick's provincially managed parks use the province's central reservation system, but the campgrounds in the immediate Saint Croix corridor are privately run and are not on that platform.
