Campgrounds near Naples Park
Naples Park sits in Collier County on Florida's Gulf Coast, just north of the city of Naples and minutes from Vanderbilt Beach and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park. The area functions as a base for RV travelers heading to Gulf beaches, Everglades National Park, and Big Cypress National Preserve, all within roughly a two-hour drive.
RV options near Naples Park skew toward full-service snowbird resorts rather than rustic public campgrounds. Lake San Marino RV Resort and Sanctuary RV Resort offer full-hookup sites geared to seasonal stays, while Bonita Lake RV Resort and Imperial Bonita Estates sit a short drive north in Bonita Springs. Bonita Terra is age-restricted to 55 and older and follows the same seasonal-resort model.
Public campgrounds are farther afield. Collier-Seminole State Park and Koreshan State Park handle state-park bookings through the Florida State Parks reservation system, and Big Cypress National Preserve campgrounds are booked through Recreation.gov.
Things to do near Naples Park
Vanderbilt Beach and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park anchor the area for swimming, shelling, and sunset watching. Delnor-Wiggins has a boat ramp, fishing jetty, and observation tower on the north end of the park. Barefoot Beach Preserve to the north offers less-developed Gulf shoreline and gopher tortoise habitat.
For paddling and wildlife, the Cocohatchee River and Clam Pass estuary run kayak launches through mangrove tunnels. Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, about a 40-minute drive east, has a two-mile boardwalk through old-growth bald cypress with wood storks and alligators.
Inland, Everglades National Park's Gulf Coast entrance at Everglades City is roughly an hour southeast and provides access to the Ten Thousand Islands. Naples Zoo and the Naples Pier round out family options within a short drive.

Naples Park runs on a snowbird calendar. The dry season from November through April brings warm days, low humidity, and minimal rain, and it is also when RV resorts fill up. Lake San Marino, Sanctuary, Bonita Lake, Imperial Bonita, and Bonita Terra all take heavy seasonal-lease traffic from January through March, so nightly sites disappear months ahead.
May is a shoulder month with rising heat and the first afternoon thunderstorms. The wet season runs June through September, with near-daily convective storms, high humidity, and heat indices routinely above 100 F. Mosquitoes and no-see-ums peak in the Everglades and inland preserves during this stretch.
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30, with peak activity in August, September, and early October. Southwest Florida sits in a high-risk zone. Travelers should track NOAA National Hurricane Center advisories and confirm each park's evacuation policy before booking wet-season stays.

This was my 1st time renting an RV. Cathy and Jose were fantastic to work with. From explaining the overall process to an “orientation meeting”, they were so helpful. Weather and traffic delayed my return by a couple of hours. Communication remained open and all was fine. Excellent vehicle and even better support where needed. We’ll definitely keep Cathy and Jose in mind for our next adventure 😉
Dan C. - Mar 2026
My experience with Jose and his wife was amazing. They were very attentive and proactive with my needs. The RV was outstanding and we fell in love with not only the RV but the overall experience.

How to book campgrounds near Naples Park
Private resorts in and around Naples Park take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Lake San Marino RV Resort, Sanctuary RV Resort, Bonita Lake RV Resort, Imperial Bonita Estates, and Bonita Terra all operate on this model, and most require deposits for peak-season stays. For January through March arrivals, book six to twelve months out.
Florida State Parks, including Collier-Seminole and Koreshan to the south and north, use the ReserveAmerica-powered Florida State Parks system with an eleven-month rolling booking window. Big Cypress National Preserve and other federal sites use Recreation.gov, typically six months in advance.
Age-restricted resorts such as Bonita Terra require all occupants to meet the 55-plus rule, so verify eligibility before paying a deposit.
What to expect
Most RV parks in the Naples Park area are paved, tightly spaced 55-plus or all-ages snowbird communities with full hookups, pools, laundry, and clubhouses rather than wooded, secluded sites. Rig-length limits, age of RV rules, and slide-out requirements vary, so confirm specifics when booking. Big rigs are generally accommodated at Lake San Marino and Sanctuary.
Cell coverage is strong across Collier and Lee counties, and grocery, fuel, and propane are easy to reach in Naples Park and North Naples. Dump stations are standard at private resorts; public parks are more limited.
Wildlife precautions matter. Alligators inhabit almost every freshwater pond, and Burmese pythons, panthers, and black bears range inland. Keep pets leashed, food secured, and stay on marked trails in state and national parks.

Frequently asked questions about campgrounds near Naples Park, FL
How much does it cost to rent an RV in Naples Park?
An RV rental in Naples Park is one of the most flexible ways to experience Southwest Florida on any budget. On RVezy, towable travel trailers near Naples Park typically range from about $100 to $175 per night, while drivable motorhomes generally run about $175 to $300 per night, with many hosts offering discounts for weekly and monthly bookings. For a cheap RV rental in Naples Park, filter by travel trailers and look at shoulder season dates in May or late September when demand softens. Snowbird season (January to March) books out fast and commands premium rates, so locking in your dates early saves real money.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Naples%20Park%2C%20FloridaWhat license do I need to rent an RV in Naples Park, FL?
Great news: your regular Class E Florida driver's license (or equivalent from your home state) is all you need to rent an RV in Naples Park. There is no special RV endorsement or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required in Florida for any motorhome or travel trailer you'll find on RVezy. You must generally be at least 25 years old to be an approved driver, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the platform during booking. Visiting from abroad? Pick up an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your local auto association before flying in and pair it with your home license. Most first-timers are surprised how simple the paperwork really is.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs RV rental insurance included when I book in Naples Park?
Yes, every RV rental in Naples Park booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit US-41 toward the Gulf with confidence. You choose your level of coverage at checkout (not the host), so you decide how much protection feels right for your trip. The protection plan helps cover eligible damage to the RV and gives you financial peace of mind on the road. That means if you get a flat on Tamiami Trail or need a jump near Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, help is one phone call away.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionWhat if I need to cancel my Naples Park RV rental?
Booking your Naples Park RV trip is low risk. RVezy (not individual hosts) sets the cancellation policy, and it includes a grace period right after booking so you have time to confirm your plans. Cancellation terms factor in how far out you are from your trip start date, and there are provisions for major events that may affect Southwest Florida during hurricane season (June through November). The policy is consistent platform-wide, so you won't see different rules on each listing. If a host cancels, RVezy issues you a refund or travel credit, so book early in hurricane season for the best motorhome selection knowing RVezy has your back.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a Naples Park RV rental?
Absolutely, a pet-friendly RV rental in Naples Park is easy to find. Just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter on RVezy and you'll see plenty of hosts who welcome dogs (some allow cats too). Once you arrive, your pup will love Naples Park's location: Naples Dog Beach at the north end of Vanderbilt Beach (just south of Wiggins Pass) is one of the few Gulf beaches in Florida where dogs run off-leash on the sand. The Naples/Marco Island KOA also has a KampK9 dog park. Message the host before booking to confirm pet fees and any size restrictions so check-in is smooth and tail-wagging.
colliercountyfl.gov/your-government/divisions-a-e/domestic-animal-servicesCan the RV be delivered to my campground or vacation rental in Naples Park?
Yes, RV delivery in Naples Park is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first-timers who'd rather skip driving a big rig down US-41. Many local hosts will deliver the RV directly to nearby campgrounds like Naples / Marco Island KOA Holiday or Endless Summer RV Resort, set it up, connect hookups, and walk you through every system before they leave. Use the Delivery filter on RVezy to see which hosts offer it and what their delivery radius and fee look like. For a stationary beach week near Vanderbilt or Barefoot Beach, delivery is often the best value since you skip mileage and fuel entirely.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Naples%20Park%2C%20FloridaHow does mileage work, and how far can I drive on a Naples Park RV trip?
You've got plenty of room to roam. Each host sets their own mileage policy on RVezy, and some even offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is perfect for a longer Naples Park RV trip down to the Keys. Typical included mileage ranges from 100 to 150 miles per day, with additional miles available for a small per-mile fee. From Naples Park, Everglades National Park's Gulf Coast Visitor Center is about 40 miles east, Key Largo is roughly 165 miles, and Sanibel Island is about 45 miles north. Look at the mileage details on each listing before booking, and if you're planning a long haul, filter for unlimited-mileage hosts.
nps.gov/ever/planyourvisit/directions.htmWhere can I camp with my RV near Naples Park?
You're spoiled for choice. The best campgrounds near Naples Park include Naples/Marco Island KOA Holiday (about 20 miles south, full hookups and a pool), Endless Summer RV Park on Tamiami Trail (paved sites, close to the beach), Sun Retreats Naples East (resort-style amenities), and Neapolitan Cove RV Resort (minutes from downtown Naples and Tin City). For a more natural vibe, Collier-Seminole State Park sits about 25 miles southeast on US-41 with shaded sites among the mangroves. Note that the closest state park, Delnor-Wiggins Pass, is day-use only (no overnight camping) but is a must-visit beach. Reserve early, January through March fills up months ahead.
floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/collier-seminole-state-parkWhen is the best time of year for RV camping in Naples Park?
Naples Park is a year-round RV destination, but the sweet spot is November through April, when daytime highs sit in the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit, humidity drops, and mosquitoes ease up. This is peak snowbird season, so book your Naples Park RV rental and campsites early. May and October are shoulder-season gold: still warm (mid-80s), fewer crowds, and notably cheaper rates. Summer (June to September) brings highs near 90 with daily afternoon thunderstorms and hurricane-season risk, but locals love it for empty beaches and lower prices. Pro tip: late February is ideal, beach weather without the holiday-week premium.
weather.gov/key/climateI've never driven an RV before. Will I be okay in Naples Park?
You're going to do great. First time renting an RV is easier than most people expect, and Naples Park is one of the friendlier places in Florida to learn: flat terrain, wide grid-style streets, and easy access to US-41 and I-75 without steep grades or mountain switchbacks. Every RVezy host gives you a full walkthrough at pickup, covering driving, leveling, hookups, and waste tanks, and you can text them throughout your trip with questions. If city driving makes you nervous, choose a Class B campervan or a smaller Class C, or simply book delivery so the RV is already parked when you arrive. RVezy's 24/7 support is also a phone call away.
fdot.gov/safety/What happens if the RV breaks down during my Naples Park trip?
You won't be stranded. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, so whether you've got a flat on Alligator Alley (I-75) heading toward Miami or a dead battery at Collier-Seminole State Park, one phone call gets help dispatched. You can also message your host directly through the RVezy app: most are local to the Naples area and happy to troubleshoot small issues like a tripped breaker or a finicky generator. RVezy customer support is available before, during, and after every trip. Pro tip: take a quick photo of the breaker panel and water hookups during your walkthrough so you can text questions easily.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat are the best road trips from Naples Park?
An RV road trip from Naples Park is a Florida bucket-list move. Top routes: head 90 miles east on US-41 (Tamiami Trail) through Big Cypress National Preserve to Everglades City for airboat tours and stone crab; drive 165 miles south to Key Largo to start the Overseas Highway through the Keys (about 5 hours to Key West); cruise 45 miles north to Sanibel and Captiva Islands for shelling; or head 125 miles northwest to Sarasota's Siesta Key. Cross-border note: travel to Mexico is not allowed on RVezy rentals due to insurance, and most hosts allow travel anywhere within the continental US, just confirm in the listing.
nps.gov/bicy/index.htmWhat kind of fuel mileage should I budget for in Naples Park?
Good news: Florida's flat terrain means RVs get better real-world MPG here than almost anywhere else in the country. Expect roughly 7-10 MPG for a Class A motorhome, 10-14 MPG for a Class C, 18-22 MPG for a Class B campervan, and your tow vehicle's normal MPG minus 2-4 when pulling a travel trailer. Florida gas prices in the Naples area typically run close to the state average, and there are plenty of stations along US-41 and Immokalee Road. For a 5-day local Naples Park RV trip with light driving, budget $100-$250 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up off Pine Ridge Road inland, beach-area stations charge a premium.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book campgrounds near Naples Park?
Book as early as you can, Southwest Florida campgrounds are some of the most competitive in the country during winter. Florida State Parks like Collier-Seminole and Koreshan open reservations 11 months in advance through ReserveAmerica's Florida State Parks portal, and the prime January-March sites are typically gone within minutes of release. Private parks like Naples/Marco Island KOA and Endless Summer fill up 6-9 months ahead for snowbird season. For summer or shoulder-season trips, 2-4 weeks of lead time is usually fine. Pro tip: set a calendar alert exactly 11 months before your desired arrival date for state parks, and book the moment the window opens at 8 AM Eastern.
floridastateparks.org/learn/reservationsWhat are the driving conditions like around Naples Park?
Driving an RV in Naples Park is refreshingly easy: pancake-flat roads, no mountain passes, and a logical north-south grid along US-41 (Tamiami Trail) and Vanderbilt Drive. Watch for two local quirks: summer afternoon thunderstorms can dump heavy rain fast (pull over if visibility drops), and Alligator Alley (I-75 east) is open and fast but has limited services for 80 miles between Naples and the Miami suburbs, so top off fuel before heading east. Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, monitor the National Hurricane Center if a storm is brewing. Avoid downtown Naples 5th Avenue South with anything over 25 feet, the side streets get tight.
fl511.com/What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Naples Park?
Local campgrounds are well equipped. Most full-service parks near Naples Park, like Naples/Marco Island KOA, Endless Summer, and Sun Retreats Naples East, offer 30/50 amp electric, water, sewer hookups, free WiFi, pools, laundry, and on-site dump stations. Public dump stations are also available at select Collier County parks if you're staying somewhere without sewer hookups, and most full-service stations along I-75 have potable water fills. State parks like Collier-Seminole offer electric and water but require you to use the dump station on exit. Pro tip: buy a 25-foot drinking-water-safe hose and a water pressure regulator before your trip, Florida water pressure can spike and damage RV plumbing.
colliercountyfl.gov/your-government/divisions-f-r/parks-recreationWhat's typically included inside an RV rental in Naples Park?
You'll be impressed by how turnkey these rentals are. Most RVezy rigs in Naples Park come with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), a bathroom with toilet and shower, real beds with linens (ask the host, many include them), roof and dash air conditioning (essential in Florida), a generator or shore power, a propane tank, and seatbelts for travel passengers. Many campervan rental Naples Park options also include outdoor showers, perfect after a Vanderbilt Beach swim. Larger Class A and Class C motorhomes often add a TV, WiFi hotspot, and an awning. Filter by Sleeps count and amenities on RVezy to match exactly what your family needs.
nhtsa.gov/equipment/recreational-vehiclesWhat add-ons and extras can I get with my Naples Park RV rental?
Plenty of fun upgrades make Naples Park RV camping easier. Hosts on RVezy commonly offer add-ons like beach chairs and umbrellas, paddleboards or kayaks (perfect for Wiggins Pass and Cocohatchee River), bike rentals, generator usage, propane refills, linens and towel packages, camping gear bundles, and pet kits. Many also offer convenient pickup/dropoff options or RV delivery in Naples Park for a flat fee. Mileage policies vary by host: some include 100-150 miles per day, others offer unlimited mileage for a higher nightly rate. Pro tip: if you're staying put at a beach campground all week, skip the unlimited-mileage rig and save, you'll barely break 50 miles total.
visitflorida.com/places-to-go/southwest/How do payments and security deposits work on RVezy?
The payment process is straightforward and secure. When you book your RV rental in Naples Park, RVezy charges your card through the platform: no cash or off-platform transactions with the host. A refundable security deposit is held by RVezy during your trip and released after the host confirms the RV was returned in good condition. To avoid issues, do a thorough walkaround with your host at pickup and dropoff, take date-stamped photos and videos of the exterior, interior, and odometer, and report anything unusual immediately through the RVezy app so everything is documented.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksCan I take my Naples Park RV rental to the Florida Keys or other states?
In most cases, yes. Many RVezy hosts in Naples Park allow travel anywhere in the continental United States, including the iconic drive south to Key Largo and onward through the Florida Keys to Key West, or north to Sarasota, Tampa, and beyond. Travel to Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage does not extend there, and cross-border travel to Canada requires written confirmation from your host before booking. Check the listing's travel policy or message the host directly to confirm your route. Pro tip: many Keys campgrounds have length limits around 35 to 40 feet, so size your rig accordingly.
