The prime camping window on the Delmarva coast runs from mid-spring through mid-fall. Reservations are required for the Oceanside drive-in sites at Assateague Island National Seashore from March 15 through November 15, and outside of that period those sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Both Assateague parks operate lifeguarded swim areas in summer. Summer is peak season. Beaches, boardwalk, and resort water parks are fully staffed, but crowds and heat build quickly, and oceanside sites can book up the day they become available for summer and holiday weekends. Spring and fall bring milder weather and easier availability, though insects can still be an issue: mosquitoes and biting flies can be abundant on Assateague, most active at dawn and dusk but persistent any time. Winter is quiet. The Assateague National Seashore campground is open year-round, but unheated showers operate March 15 to November 15 only, so cold-weather campers should plan for reduced services.

It was an amazing experience! The RV was new and very clean with paper products and some chairs and a table!

The RV was exactly what we needed and as pictured. We would 100% would rent again and would recommend. There were many things that we packed, thinking there would be nothing in the RV; but there were paper plates, paper towels, toilet paper, utensils: plastic reusable cups, bowls, pots, pans, a strainer, knives, and plates. There was also a boogie board, pillows, scented spray and multiple cleaning supplies, as well as hand soap. The RV was clean and set up properly when we arrived. There were also 2 outdoor reclining chairs and an outdoor table. The awning worked as it should, as well as the electric and generator. The stove was propane and had propane there already. The generator (additional cost) worked great and was easy to start, and refilled with gas. The electric was mostly solar power. The toilet worked well. We didnt utilize the shower, so we dont know about that, but they did fill our water tank for us prior to arrival. Overall, would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a great company to rent an RV from!
