Cedar Glen West is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located within Manchester Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area sits on the northern edge of the Pine Barrens, within easy reach of both the Jersey Shore beaches and Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, which makes it a practical base for RV trips that mix coast, forest, and amusement-park days. Most campgrounds within a short drive fall in Jackson Township and Freehold Township. Private RV parks in the immediate area include Butterfly Camping Resort, Tip Tam Camping Resort, and Indian Rock RV Resort and Campground, all clustered in Jackson. Pine Cone Campgrounds sits closer to Freehold, and Turkey Swamp Park is a 2,388-acre county park and nature preserve in Freehold Township, within the northernmost fringes of the Pine Barrens.
