Each nearby park uses its own reservation channel, so plan ahead. Wawayanda State Park bookings go through the New Jersey State Park Service reservation portal at camping.nj.gov, which also lists other NJ state park campgrounds. New York's Harriman campground uses a different system. Reservations for Beaver Pond are made through Reserve America, and camping reservations can be made up to 9 months in advance. Floyd Bennett Field reservations go through Recreation.gov, the federal booking platform for National Park Service sites. Liberty Harbor is booked directly with the property by phone or through its website. For summer weekends and holiday windows near NYC, book several weeks to several months in advance.
