Titusville is a small hamlet in the town of LaGrange in Dutchess County, part of the Hudson Valley region of New York. The location puts RV travelers within easy reach of Hudson River state parks to the west, the Taconic State Parkway corridor to the east, and the Hudson Highlands to the south. Poughkeepsie sits just minutes away and serves as the closest full-service town for groceries, fuel, and supplies. Sylvan Lake Beach Park Inc is among the closest options and sits on a small lake in central Dutchess County. Margaret Lewis Norrie State Park, roughly a half-hour drive north along the Hudson, is part of the larger Mills-Norrie complex bordered on the west by the river. Further afield, Pelton Pond - Clarence Fahnestock State Park anchors a 14,000-acre preserve in Putnam County, while New York City North / Newburgh KOA Holiday and Interlake RV Park & Campground sit across the river to the southwest. The mix works for both tent-and-trailer setups and larger motorhomes.
