2015 Forest River Tent Trailer
We had a great trip with Jerry and Christine's A-Frame trailer. When we picked it up Jerry and Christine spent a good amount of time to explain the operation of the trailer and made sure that we were able to use all the features. The bed was super comfortable and the trailer was in great working order. Jerry was very accommodating arranging pick up and return of the trailer which was very appreciated. Communication was good and timely and added to the overall good experience. Markus

2025 Forest River Micro Trailer
I almost hate to rate this so high, because I want it available anytime I need it, but this was absolutely perfect. Everything you need it to be, to create memories... Like I did for my son's first hunting trip! It has all the basics, plus some extras like a projector and movie screen, off-grid, power bank, and even running water for a sink.... I had power for 4 days, it was incredible, will be back for sure

It was the first time I used this app for a rental and John was extremely helpful in explaining the trailer hookup, as well as any other questions I had. The trailer worked flawlessly and was very clean and comfortable. Towing the trailer was no issue at all either. We really enjoyed our experience with this unit.

rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Okanagan%20Falls%2C%20British%20ColumbiaWhat kind of driver's license do I need to rent an RV in Okanagan Falls?
A regular Class 5 driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Okanagan Falls, BC. There is no special RV endorsement or commercial license required in British Columbia for the motorhomes and trailers typically rented on RVezy. Approved drivers on RVezy are generally 25 or older and need to upload a clear photo of their license during ID verification, which usually takes just a few minutes. Visiting from outside Canada? Bring your home country's license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your local auto association, and you are set to hit Highway 97 toward Skaha Lake.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs my rental protected if something goes wrong on my Okanagan Falls RV trip?
Every booking on RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can cruise from Okanagan Falls to Penticton with real peace of mind. The protection plan covers most accidental damage to the RV during your trip, and you choose your coverage level (Standard, Standard Plus, or Premium) during checkout, not the host. This provides solid financial protection so a chipped windshield from Highway 97 gravel will not derail your trip. Pro tip: review the three tiers before booking so you can pick the right comfort level for your family RV trip in Okanagan Falls.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat if I need to cancel my Okanagan Falls RV booking?
Booking is low-risk because RVezy applies a built-in cancellation policy to every reservation, including a grace period after booking when you can receive a full refund. Refund outcomes depend on how far out you cancel from your trip start, and extraordinary circumstances such as BC wildfire evacuation orders are reviewed by RVezy support. Hosts do not set their own cancellation rules on RVezy, so the policy is consistent across every listing in Okanagan Falls. Pro tip: book early to lock in the best RVs for summer at Skaha Lake, knowing the platform's flexibility is there if plans change.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Okanagan Falls?
Yes, lots of dogs are welcome on the road here. On RVezy you can filter for a pet-friendly RV rental Okanagan Falls hosts offer, and you'll see clearly which listings allow furry co-pilots (some have pet fees, others don't). Once you're rolling, your pup will love the off-leash beach at Skaha Lake Park in nearby Penticton and the dog-friendly trails around Vaseux Lake just south of town. Many local wineries on the Okanagan Falls Wine Trail, like Blasted Church and Wild Goose Vineyards, are also dog-friendly on their patios. Message the host before booking to confirm pet rules, and your trip is good to go.
bcparks.ca/skaha-bluffs-park/Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Okanagan Falls?
Yes, RV delivery in Okanagan Falls is one of the easiest ways to start your trip, especially if you are flying into Penticton Regional Airport (YYF) about 20 minutes north. Many RVezy hosts will deliver and set up your motorhome or travel trailer directly at sx?wlx?tkw (formerly Okanagan Falls) Provincial Park, Sun and Sand RV Park, or your private rental property, then walk you through everything from the awning to the propane. Filter for Delivery on RVezy to see which hosts offer it and their delivery radius. Pro tip: this is the best move for first time renting an RV travellers, you skip the towing learning curve and just enjoy Okanagan wine country.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039332474-Delivery-optionsHow far can I drive on an RV rental from Okanagan Falls?
You can travel wherever the road takes you. Most RVezy hosts in Okanagan Falls offer generous daily mileage allowances (typically 150 to 200 km per day), and some list an RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is ideal for longer Okanagan loops. Popular drives within easy range include Penticton (20 km), Kelowna (75 km), Osoyoos (45 km), Kamloops (260 km), and Vancouver (around 400 km via the Coquihalla). Each listing on RVezy shows the included mileage and the per-kilometre rate for extra distance, so there are no surprises. Pro tip: map your route before booking and message the host if you'd like to negotiate extra kilometres for a longer RV road trip from Okanagan Falls.
drivebc.ca/Where are the best campgrounds near Okanagan Falls?
You are spoiled for choice. Right in town, sx?wlx?tkw Provincial Park (formerly Okanagan Falls Provincial Park) sits along the Okanagan River channel with shaded sites just steps from the village. A few minutes south, Vaseux Lake Provincial Park offers quiet lakeside camping in a bighorn sheep sanctuary. To the north, Skaha Lake Park in Penticton and Banbury Green RV Resort in Kaleden are lakefront favourites for RV camping near Okanagan Falls. For full hookups, Sun and Sand RV Park in Okanagan Falls is a reliable option. Pro tip: BC Parks campsites in the South Okanagan book up months ahead for July and August, so reserve early through the Discover Camping system.
bcparks.ca/vaseux-lake-park/When is the best time to rent an RV in Okanagan Falls?
The sweet spot is May through early October, with July and August being peak season for warm Okanagan lake days. Summer highs sit around 28 to 32°C (82 to 90°F) and the South Okanagan is one of the sunniest, driest regions in Canada, so beach and winery days are nearly guaranteed. Shoulder season in May, June, and September brings 20 to 25°C days, fewer crowds, and lower rates on a motorhome rental Okanagan Falls travellers can enjoy without summer pricing. Pro tip: aim for the second week of September during wine harvest, you'll get warm afternoons, cool nights perfect for the RV, and the famous Okanagan Falls Fall Wine Festival.
climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_normals/I've never rented an RV before, is Okanagan Falls a good place to start?
Absolutely, Okanagan Falls is one of the most beginner-friendly RV destinations in BC. Highway 97 through town is wide, well-maintained, and the surrounding terrain is rolling rather than mountainous, so first-time drivers can build confidence quickly. Every RVezy host gives a full walkthrough at pickup covering the propane, water, slide-outs, and dump procedures, so you're never left guessing. Choose a Class B campervan or a smaller Class C if you're nervous about size, or skip driving altogether by booking delivery. Pro tip: do your first night close to home at Sun and Sand RV Park in Okanagan Falls, then head out exploring after you've gotten comfortable with the systems.
www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/transportation/driving-and-cycling/driver-licensingWhat happens if my RV breaks down during my Okanagan Falls trip?
You are never on your own. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, so a flat tire on Eastside Road or a dead battery at Vaseux Lake is just one phone call away. The roadside team coordinates tow trucks, mobile mechanics, lockout help, and fuel delivery across British Columbia. Your RVezy host is also reachable through the in-app messenger for quick questions about quirks specific to their vehicle. Pro tip: save the RVezy support number in your phone before pickup and snap a photo of the RV's plate and VIN, so you have everything ready to get back to enjoying Okanagan wine country fast.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008334-Roadside-assistanceCan I take my Okanagan Falls RV rental into the United States or other provinces?
Cross-border and inter-provincial trips are often possible, you just need to coordinate with your host first. Many RVezy hosts in Okanagan Falls allow travel into Alberta or south through the Osoyoos border crossing (about 45 km away) into Washington State for trips to the North Cascades or Grand Coulee. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental due to insurance coverage limits. Always message the host before booking to confirm border travel and ask them to note it on your booking. Pro tip: bring your passport, vehicle registration, and a letter from the host confirming permission to cross, and your campervan rental in Okanagan Falls can easily become an international adventure.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityHow much should I budget for fuel on an Okanagan Falls RV trip?
Fuel is one of the easier costs to plan. In British Columbia, gasoline currently runs around CAD $1.65 to $1.85 per litre and diesel slightly higher, with stations in Okanagan Falls, Kaleden, and Penticton easy to find along Highway 97. Most Class C motorhomes get about 18 to 22 L/100km, while smaller campervans can reach 12 to 15 L/100km, and large Class A's burn closer to 25 to 30 L/100km. For a 500 km Okanagan loop, budget roughly CAD $150 to $250 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up in Penticton or Oliver where prices tend to be lower than at smaller highway stops.
www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/industry/natural-gas-oil/petroleum-productsHow far in advance should I book a campground near Okanagan Falls?
For July and August, book as early as you can, BC Parks releases reservations through the Discover Camping system up to four months ahead, and waterfront sites at sx?wlx?tkw (Sw?iws), Okanagan Lake, and Bear Creek Provincial Parks sell out within minutes of opening at 7:00 AM PT. Private parks like Sun and Sand RV Park and Banbury Green typically take bookings 6 to 12 months in advance for peak weekends. Shoulder season is much more relaxed, you can often book a week ahead. Pro tip: set a calendar alert four months before your dates and have your BC Parks account logged in and ready for the best campgrounds near Okanagan Falls.
camping.bcparks.ca/What are the local driving conditions like around Okanagan Falls?
Driving here is genuinely enjoyable, Highway 97 is the main route and it's a well-paved two-to-four-lane road that winds gently along Skaha and Vaseux Lakes. Watch for bighorn sheep crossing near Vaseux Lake, fruit-stand traffic in summer, and occasional sharp curves on Eastside Road if you're towing a fifth wheel. In winter (November to March), BC law requires winter or M+S tires on most highways including Highway 97, and you should check DriveBC for snow advisories on the Coquihalla if heading to Vancouver. Pro tip: avoid driving the Connector (Highway 97C) during snowstorms in a tall motorhome, the wind exposure near Pennask Summit can be intense.
drivebc.ca/What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Okanagan Falls?
You'll find a great mix. Private parks like Sun and Sand RV Park in Okanagan Falls and Banbury Green RV Resort in Kaleden offer full hookups (water, 30/50 amp electric, sewer), Wi-Fi, showers, and laundry. BC Parks sites at sx?wlx?tkw (Sw?iws) and Vaseux Lake are more rustic with potable water taps, pit or flush toilets, and no hookups, perfect for boondocking-style camping. Sani-dump stations are available at Sun and Sand RV Park and at the Penticton Visitor Centre on Power Street. Pro tip: top up fresh water and dump before leaving town, the next reliable sani-dumps heading north are in West Kelowna and south in Oliver.
bcparks.ca/sx%CA%B7%C9%99%C9%AC%CA%B7tkw-sw%CA%96iws-park/sx%CA%B7%C9%99%C9%AC%CA%B7tkw-sw%CA%96iws-campground/What features and amenities come with RV rentals in Okanagan Falls?
Plenty of comfort comes standard. Most RVezy rentals in Okanagan Falls include a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave), a bathroom with shower, a queen or king bed plus convertible dinette, propane heat, roof-top air conditioning, and seatbelts for every passenger. Larger Class A and C motorhomes often add a generator, outdoor speakers, awnings, and bike racks, great for cruising the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. Smaller campervans keep it simple with a fridge, cooktop, and bed in a nimble package. Pro tip: use the amenities filter on RVezy for Wi-Fi or generator if you are working remotely from the lake or boondocking off-grid in wine country.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Okanagan%20Falls%2C%20British%20ColumbiaWhat add-ons and pickup options should I expect when renting an RV in Okanagan Falls?
You can really customize your trip. Popular add-ons from Okanagan Falls hosts include bedding and linen packages (CAD $25 to $75), camping chairs and outdoor kits, BBQ rentals, bike racks, generators, and stand-up paddleboards for Skaha Lake. Pickup is usually at the host's home in Okanagan Falls, Kaleden, or Penticton, and many hosts offer delivery within a 20 to 50 km radius for a per-km fee. Mileage allowances are set by each host but typically include 150 to 200 km per day, with extra at roughly CAD $0.30 to $0.45 per km. Pro tip: bundle delivery plus a linen kit and you will arrive to a fully made-up RV ready for sunset on Skaha Lake.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Okanagan%20Falls%2C%20British%20ColumbiaHow do payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is simple and secure. When you book an RV rental in Okanagan Falls through RVezy, you pay by credit card directly on the platform, no cash exchanged with the host. A security deposit is pre-authorized on your card (not charged) a few days before pickup, typically between CAD $500 and $1,500 depending on the RV. As long as you return the motorhome on time, clean, with the fuel and propane topped up, and the tanks dumped per the listing, the hold is released after your trip. Pro tip: take date-stamped photos of the RV inside and out at pickup and drop-off, it is the easiest way to keep your deposit fully refunded.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksCan I rent an RV in Okanagan Falls during the winter?
Yes, winter RV rentals are available in Okanagan Falls, and it is a quiet, scenic time to visit nearby Apex Mountain Resort (about 40 minutes away). Winters here are cold but manageable, with January daytime highs near 0°C and overnight lows around -7°C. Look for RVezy listings with four-season insulation, heated holding tanks, and shore-power hookups, and confirm with your host that the RV is winterized for use, not storage. Sun and Sand RV Park stays open year-round with full hookups. Pro tip: plug into 30-amp power overnight, keep the furnace on low, and let a tap drip slightly during cold snaps to keep your motorhome rental in Okanagan Falls running smoothly.
