The awning was not operational. And was not told until pick up. Was told he is waiting on parts to repair. We had to buy a 10x10 pop up canapy. There was also a soft spot in the bathroom by the shower. We did not use the bathroom. We used the RV park restrooms. Other than that it was great!

Is protection included with my Henderson RV rental?

Yes, every RV rental in Henderson booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can explore the Atchafalaya Basin with peace of mind. During checkout you choose your protection level, and the plan helps cover physical damage to the RV during your trip. Yes, a pet-friendly RV rental in Henderson is easy to find on RVezy, just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter to see listings where dogs are welcome. Fall brings cooler evenings and great paddling weather on the basin. Summer (June through September) is hot and humid with highs often in the 90s F and frequent afternoon thunderstorms, so look for an RV with strong AC and an awning. A February or March trip pairs mild weather with the start of crawfish boils, a quintessential Cajun experience.

Realistic mileage estimates: travel trailers pulled by an SUV or truck average 10 to 14 mpg, Class C motorhomes average 8 to 12 mpg, and larger Class A rigs get 6 to 9 mpg. What are driving conditions like around Henderson?

Driving conditions around Henderson are easy and forgiving, the terrain is flat, roads are straight, and there are no mountain passes or tight switchbacks. The main route, I-10, runs east-west across the iconic Atchafalaya Basin Bridge just east of town, and it is fully RV friendly with standard interstate clearances. Watch for sudden afternoon thunderstorms from May through September, which can drop visibility quickly, and slow down for occasional fog over the swamp on winter mornings. How does payment and the security deposit work?

Payment is simple and secure. RVezy processes everything through the platform with your credit card, no cash to the host. You pay the rental total at booking, and the host places a refundable security deposit hold on your card before pickup. The deposit is separate from the booking payment and is released after dropoff once the host confirms there is no damage, usually within a few business days. To avoid issues on your Henderson RV trip, do a quick walkaround video at pickup and dropoff, dump tanks before returning, and refill fuel and propane if your host requires it. Use a credit card with enough available limit since the hold temporarily reduces your available credit even though it is not a charge.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-works

Can I take my Henderson RV rental across state lines or into Mexico?

Yes to neighboring states, no to Mexico. Cross-border travel into Mexico is not allowed on RVezy rentals because insurance coverage stops at the border. You still have the whole U.S. to explore: popular interstate trips from Henderson include Mississippi's Gulf Coast (about 2.5 hours east), Texas (Houston in about 3 hours, Big Bend much further west), Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, and Arkansas's Hot Springs to the north. Some hosts set mileage or geographic limits, so message them through the listing before booking to confirm your route. A 7-day loop from Henderson through Natchez, Vicksburg, and back via Baton Rouge is one of the South's most underrated RV road trips, history, riverboats, and Cajun food in one swing.
