2025 East to West Travel Trailer
My family and I just returned from an unforgettable RV trip. We rented Randy & Kim's travel trailer and had it delivered to the Fort Custer Recreation Area near Kalamazoo, MI. The RV was literally brand new, very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the spacious living area, kitchen, comfortable beds, outdoor awning and most of all - Kim's and Randy's hospitality. They made sure that we were always taken care of,- starting with proper & prompt communication, having the travel trailer set up & ready to walk into to a detailed walkthrough and ensuring that everything worked as it should. I highly recommend Randy & Kim! You can't find better hosts!!

We’ve not rented a RV in the past. The entire experience of renting the Yankee Traveler with Stu far exceeded our expectations. How much does it cost to rent an RV in Wayland, MI?

RV rental in Wayland is genuinely affordable compared to coastal markets, and there are great ways to stretch your budget further. What kind of driver's license do I need to rent an RV in Wayland?

Good news, a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Wayland, Michigan. The state does not require a commercial driver's license or special endorsement for motorhomes under 26,000 pounds, which covers virtually every Class B campervan, Class C, and most Class A rentals on RVezy. RVezy requires approved drivers to be 25 or older with a valid license, and your ID is verified securely during booking. Visiting from outside the US? Bring your home-country license plus an International Driving Permit and you are set. The only quirky Michigan rule, the Recreational Double R endorsement, applies only if you are towing a fifth wheel plus an additional trailer, which is not relevant to standard RV rentals in Wayland.

Is RV insurance and roadside assistance included with my Wayland RV rental?

Yes, every booking on RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can hit the road around Wayland with real peace of mind. You choose your protection level at checkout, not the host, so you control how much coverage you want, and the plan is designed for peer-to-peer RV rentals. If you get a flat on US-131 heading to Gun Lake or run into a battery issue at Yankee Springs Recreation Area, one call gets help dispatched any time of day or night. What if I need to cancel my Wayland RV trip?

You are not locked in the moment you book. RVezy backs every reservation with a clear cancellation policy that includes a grace period right after booking. Refund outcomes depend on how far out from your trip you cancel, which is reassuring given Michigan's occasional summer storms and lake-effect snow. Cancellation policies are set by RVezy, not individual hosts, so you get consistent treatment whether you book a campervan in Wayland or a Class A near Gun Lake. If a host cancels on you, RVezy will refund you or help rebook. Full details are on the RVezy Help Center, and customer support is available before, during, and after your trip.
