2022 Cruiser RV Travel Trailer
The company was super easy to work with. Jay (owner) is super nice and communicative. The trailer was dropped off a few hours after the originally scheduled time. However, Caleb (driver) was awesome to work with and very accommodating. He came to pick up the trailer right on time which was very appreciated. We did rent it over 4th of July week so they were very busy. The trailer has a ton of extras that are provided which was really nice and made the trip really nice and convenient. Overall, I would use there services again.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Forsyth, MO

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Forsyth, MO?

RV rental in Forsyth is one of the more affordable ways to experience the Ozarks and nearby Branson. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes around $175 to $275 per night, and larger Class A motorhomes from $250 to $400 per night. Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Forsyth, Missouri?

You're in luck: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Forsyth, Missouri. Under Missouri rule 12 CSR 10-24.305, recreational vehicles used for personal or family use are exempt from any commercial driver's license requirement, so your standard Class F license covers everything from a small campervan to a 40-foot Class A motorhome. You'll need to be at least 25 years old to book on RVezy, and you'll upload a photo of your license through the platform for quick ID confirmation before pickup. That's it, no RV endorsement, no road test, no DMV visit. Most first-time renters in the Ozarks are surprised how quickly they're cleared to hit the road toward Bull Shoals Lake.

Is renting an RV in Forsyth safe, and what protection is included?

Every RVezy booking in Forsyth comes with a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance built right in, so you can hit Highway 160 with real peace of mind. You choose your protection level at checkout (not the host), so you can match coverage to your comfort and budget. What if I need to cancel my Forsyth RV rental?

Plans change, and RVezy makes it low-risk to book ahead for your Forsyth getaway. RVezy (not the host) sets the cancellation policy, and there is a grace period after booking where you can cancel and receive a full refund. After that, the refund amount depends on how far out you are from your trip start date. If a host cancels on you, RVezy refunds your payment or provides travel credit so your plans stay protected. You will see the exact cancellation details in your booking confirmation and on the RVezy Help Center. Lock in your dates with confidence, especially for popular weekends like the Forsyth July 4th fireworks at Shadow Rock Park.

Can I bring my dog on a Forsyth RV trip?

Absolutely, and the Ozarks are made for tail-wagging adventures. Many RVezy hosts offer pet-friendly RV rental in Forsyth, just toggle the 'Pet-Friendly' filter when you search. Once you've got your rig, you'll find plenty of dog-welcoming spots nearby: Shadow Rock Park has open green space along the Bull Shoals tailwater where leashed pups love to splash, and the Bull Shoals-White River State Park trails (about 45 minutes south) welcome leashed dogs on most paths. Henning Conservation Area west of Branson also allows leashed pets on its glade trails. Pro tip: message your host before booking to confirm pet fees (typically $25 to $75 per trip) and any breed or size notes, so check-in is smooth.

Can the RV be delivered to my campground in Forsyth?

Yes, RV delivery in Forsyth is one of the easiest ways to start your trip stress-free. Many RVezy hosts will drive the motorhome or travel trailer directly to your campsite at Shadow Rock Park, River Run Park, or Theodosia Park on Bull Shoals Lake, level it, hook up water and power, and walk you through every system before they leave. Delivery fees typically run $2 to $4 per mile from the host's location, with some hosts offering free delivery within a set radius of Forsyth. This is a game-changer for first-time renters and anyone who wants to skip the towing learning curve. What are the best campgrounds near Forsyth, MO?

Forsyth is surrounded by some of the best campgrounds in the Ozarks. Shadow Rock Park & Campground sits right in town along the White River and is walkable to the Forsyth square. River Run Park, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground, offers lakefront sites on Bull Shoals Lake with electric hookups and a boat ramp. Theodosia Park (about 40 minutes east) is another Corps gem with lake views and electric sites. When is the best time to rent an RV in Forsyth?

The sweet spot for RV camping in Forsyth is mid-April through late October, when daytime highs run from a pleasant 68°F in April to a warm 90°F in July, and lake water is comfortable for swimming. May and June bring lush green hillsides and dogwood blooms, while October delivers some of the most spectacular fall color in the Ozarks (peaking around the third week). July and August are hot and humid (heat index can hit 107°F), so book an RV with strong air conditioning. Winter rentals are available and surprisingly peaceful (January lows average 28°F), and Branson's Silver Dollar City Christmas festival makes November and December a hidden gem season for an Ozarks getaway.

I've never rented an RV before. Will I be okay driving around Forsyth?

You've got this, Forsyth is actually one of the friendlier places in Missouri to learn the ropes. Highway 160 and Highway 76 are wide, well-maintained two-lane roads with gentle Ozark curves rather than the steep mountain switchbacks you'd find out west. Your RVezy host will give you a full walkthrough at pickup, showing you how to operate the slides, generator, water systems, and dump valves, so you're never guessing. If you're nervous about driving, ask about delivery so the host brings the RV straight to your campsite. Pro tip: avoid pulling into downtown Branson's Highway 76 strip during peak show times (6 to 8 pm); take Shepherd of the Hills Expressway instead for an easier route.

What happens if the RV breaks down during my trip?

You are never stranded with an RVezy rental. Every booking in Forsyth includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, so one phone call gets you help anywhere from the Bull Shoals shoreline to the back roads of Taney County. Roadside service covers things like flat tires, jump starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, and towing to the nearest qualified repair shop. Your host is also just a message away through the RVezy app and knows their RV inside and out, often the fastest fix for small quirks. Pro tip: cell coverage can dip in the deeper hollows around Bull Shoals Lake, so screenshot the RVezy roadside number and your host's contact info before you leave Forsyth.

What are the best RV road trips from Forsyth?

Forsyth is an incredible launchpad for an Ozarks RV road trip. Top routes include Branson (about 18 miles west) for shows, Table Rock Lake, and Silver Dollar City; Eureka Springs, Arkansas (about 80 miles southwest) for Victorian charm and winding mountain roads; the Buffalo National River near Jasper, Arkansas (about 110 miles) for legendary float trips and bluff campsites; Springfield (about 55 miles north) for the Bass Pro Shops flagship and Wonders of Wildlife aquarium; and Roaring River State Park (about 75 miles west) for trout fishing in a spring-fed stream. Cross-state trips into Arkansas are perfectly fine on RVezy, just confirm your itinerary with your host before you cross state lines.

How much should I budget for fuel on a Forsyth RV trip?

Fuel is usually the biggest variable cost, but Forsyth is friendly to your wallet. Missouri consistently has some of the lowest gas prices in the country, often $0.30 to $0.60 below the national average. Expect roughly 7 to 10 MPG for a Class A motorhome, 10 to 14 MPG for a Class C, and 16 to 20 MPG for a campervan or tow vehicle pulling a travel trailer. For a 200-mile weekend loop around Bull Shoals and Table Rock lakes in a Class C, budget around $60 to $90 in gas. Fill up in Forsyth or Branson where stations are competitive, and avoid topping off near remote lakefront marinas where prices spike. Bonus: most local campgrounds are short hops apart, so you'll drive less than you think.

How far in advance should I book a campground near Forsyth?

For the best sites, book early, especially the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds around Bull Shoals Lake. Sites at River Run Park and Theodosia Park open for reservation 6 months in advance through Recreation.gov, and the lakefront pads disappear within hours for Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day weekends. Shadow Rock Park, run by the City of Forsyth, takes reservations directly and fills up fast for the town's free July 4th fireworks display over the White River. Private parks like Jellystone and Bar B RV Park are usually bookable 1 to 3 months out. Pro tip: if you strike out, ask your RVezy host about delivery to a private lakeshore lot or a less-known spot like Beaver Creek Recreation Area.
recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234074

What are the local driving conditions like around Forsyth?

Driving around Forsyth is genuinely enjoyable. The main roads (Highways 160, 76, and 125) are well-paved two-lane routes with rolling hills and Ozark curves, but nothing extreme. Traffic is light outside of the Branson Highway 76 entertainment strip, which can crawl from late afternoon to evening during show season (April to December). Watch for deer at dawn and dusk, especially along Highway Y near River Run, and be ready for sudden Ozark thunderstorms in spring (April to June) that can drop heavy rain in 30 minutes. Bridges crossing Bull Shoals Lake arms can get gusty in winds over 20 mph, so check the forecast on travel days. Most campground access roads are paved or well-graded gravel suitable for any RV.

What amenities can I expect at Forsyth campgrounds?

Local campgrounds around Forsyth are well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Most U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks like River Run and Theodosia offer 30/50-amp electric, water hookups, vault or flush toilets, hot showers, dump stations, and lake-access boat ramps, though full sewer hookups at the site are less common. Private parks like Jellystone and Bar B RV Park offer full hookups (water, electric, sewer at every site), Wi-Fi, laundry, and pools. Free dump stations are available at most Corps campgrounds and several gas stations along Highway 160. Potable water fill-up is easy at Shadow Rock Park and any of the Corps day-use areas. Pro tip: pack a 25-foot sewer hose and a 50-to-30-amp adapter just in case, most RVezy hosts include both.

You'll be impressed by how move-in ready RVezy rentals in Forsyth are. Most motorhome rentals in Forsyth come with comfortable beds for 4 to 8 people, a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink, cookware, and dishes), a bathroom with toilet and shower, climate control (AC and furnace), seatbelts for travel, and a dinette that often converts to extra sleeping space. Many include a TV, Bluetooth stereo, outdoor awning with patio lights, and a generator for boondocking at lakefront sites without hookups. Wi-Fi is hit or miss in the Ozark hills, so check the listing or plan to use your phone's hotspot. Campervans are more compact but include the essentials. Always review the host's amenity list and ask about linens and kitchen kits, many include them free.

How does the security deposit and payment work on RVezy?

Payment on RVezy is simple and secure. You pay for your Forsyth RV rental online with a credit card at booking, with no cash or in-person transactions with the host. A refundable security deposit (typically a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars depending on the RV) is held separately from your booking payment and released after a clean return. To avoid any deposit issues: take date-stamped photos of the RV inside and out at pickup and return, follow the host's mileage and generator-hour limits, dump the tanks before returning (or pay the dump fee), and return with the same fuel level. Pro tip: do the walkthrough with your host and note any existing scratches in the RVezy app right away.
