2018 Winnebago Class A
An Absolutely Wonderful Experience – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end! The motorhome was exactly as described, well maintained, clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our Canadian adventure. Everything worked wonderfully, and we couldn’t have been happier. What truly made this trip exceptional, however, was our host, Steve. He is an incredibly kind, warm-hearted, helpful, and genuinely wonderful person who went above and beyond to make our journey unforgettable. His outstanding support in planning our route, sharing valuable recommendations, and helping us prepare for the trip made an enormous difference. His kindness, patience, and dedication were truly exceptional. Thanks in large part to his assistance, we enjoyed one of the most memorable and enjoyable trips we have ever taken. It is rare to meet someone who cares so much about his guests and their experience. We feel genuinely fortunate to have met Steve and are extremely grateful for everything he did for us. We wholeheartedly recommend both Steve and his motorhome without the slightest hesitation. If you are considering renting from him, you can book with complete confidence. You will not only get a great motorhome but also an outstanding host who truly cares. Five stars are simply not enough! Thank you so much, Steve, for everything. We hope to see you again someday! Warmest regards, Lothar & Ilona

Jason and Gina were excellent hosts.I don't want to say too much in case we were being spoilt but they are genuinely great people. RV was spotless, clean, cooled and full of water and petrol. We were newbies to RVing and any questions we had Jason answered quickly by what's app. Pick up and drop off were flawless and times were very flexible. Jason also dropped us back to the airport which was very handy. We would recommend hiring from Jason and Gina and he has some other trailers he rents out also.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in East Aurora, NY
How much does it cost to rent an RV in East Aurora, NY?
RV rental in East Aurora is affordable compared to renting in Buffalo or near Niagara Falls. Expect roughly $95 to $175 per night for travel trailers, $150 to $225 for Class C motorhomes, and $200 to $325 for larger Class A rigs through RVezy. Travel trailers are the cheap RV rental East Aurora favorite, since many Western New York hosts include generous mileage and weekly discounts. To save more, book mid-week, target the shoulder season in May or late September, and use the Instant Book filter to find listings priced for quick reservations. Many East Aurora hosts offer 10 to 15 percent off weekly stays, ideal for a Letchworth or Allegany trip.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=East%20Aurora%2C%20New%20YorkWhat license do I need to rent an RV in East Aurora?
Good news: your regular New York State driver's license (or any valid US or Canadian license) is all you need to rent an RV in East Aurora. No commercial driver's license (CDL) or special RV endorsement is required for any motorhome or travel trailer on RVezy, including Class A coaches. Approved drivers must generally be 25 or older, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the platform before pickup. Visiting from overseas? Bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside your home-country license. Most first-time renters in Erie County are surprised how quickly they are cleared to hit NY-400 toward Letchworth or the Southtowns.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs insurance included with my East Aurora RV rental?
Every RV rental in East Aurora booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you are covered from the moment you drive off. The protection plan covers most damage to the RV during your trip, and you choose your coverage level at checkout, not the host. Pick the coverage tier that matches your comfort level when booking and focus on the fun stuff, like which Bar-Bill wing flavor to try first along NY-16 or US-219 toward Ellicottville.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionWhat if I need to cancel my East Aurora RV trip?
Booking is low-risk. RVezy sets the cancellation policy (not individual hosts), and refunds depend on how far out your trip is at the time of cancellation. The policy is consistent across listings, so you will not see a confusing patchwork of host rules. If your plans change or severe winter weather disrupts travel in Western New York, contact RVezy support directly and they will walk you through your options. That clarity makes it easy to lock in your East Aurora RV trip now, even if your calendar isn't 100 percent set.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on an East Aurora RV rental?
Yes, a pet-friendly RV rental in East Aurora is easy to find on RVezy. Toggle the Pet-Friendly filter and you will see hosts who welcome dogs (some allow cats too). Once on the road, your pup will love Knox Farm State Park's open meadows on Buffalo Road, the village trails at Hamlin Park, and walks along Cazenovia Creek. Many Main Street patios are dog-friendly in summer too. Message the host before booking to confirm pet fees, then pack a tie-out, water bowl, and proof of vaccinations for any campgrounds that ask.
parks.ny.gov/parks/170/Can the RV be delivered to my campground or driveway in East Aurora?
Yes, RV delivery in East Aurora is one of the most popular options on RVezy and a game-changer if it is your first time renting an RV. Many local hosts will drive the rig to your chosen campground, set up the awning, level the trailer, hook up power and water, and walk you through every system before they leave. Popular delivery destinations include Evangola State Park, Letchworth State Park, and private campgrounds like Sleepy Hollow Lake and HTR Niagara. Delivery fees typically run $2 to $4 per mile round-trip. Filter listings by Delivery on RVezy, then message the host with your campsite address for a precise quote.
parks.ny.gov/parks/evangolaHow far can I drive on a typical East Aurora RV rental?
You'll have plenty of range for a great East Aurora RV trip. Most hosts include 100 to 150 free miles per night, and some offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, perfect for longer loops. From East Aurora, Letchworth State Park (the Grand Canyon of the East) is just 45 miles southeast, Niagara Falls is about 40 miles northwest, Allegany State Park is roughly 70 miles south, and the Finger Lakes wine country starts around 90 miles east. Toronto sits about 130 miles north via the Peace Bridge. Pro tip: filter for unlimited mileage if you're planning a multi-stop road trip from East Aurora through Western New York's state parks.
parks.ny.gov/parks/letchworthWhere are the best campgrounds near East Aurora, NY?
You've got fantastic options for RV camping East Aurora within an hour's drive. Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground in Java Center sits about 25 miles south with full hookups and a lake. Evangola State Park on Lake Erie (around 30 miles west) offers waterfront sites and a sandy beach. Letchworth State Park's Highbanks Campground (45 miles southeast) is the showstopper, with sites overlooking 600-foot gorge walls. Darien Lake (35 miles north) pairs RV camping with theme-park access, and HTR Niagara is great for a Falls-focused trip. Book New York state park sites through ReserveAmerica up to nine months in advance, especially for summer weekends, since the best campgrounds near East Aurora fill fast.
parks.ny.gov/parks/letchworth/camping.aspxWhen is the best time to rent an RV in East Aurora?
Late May through mid-October is prime time for a motorhome rental East Aurora, with daytime highs from 70°F to 82°F and warm nights ideal for campfires. July and August are peak season for Lake Erie beaches and Letchworth waterfalls, while late September into mid-October delivers spectacular fall color across the Southtowns and Allegany hills, often with cheaper nightly rates. Spring (May to early June) is quieter and green but can be rainy. Winters are snowy thanks to lake-effect off Lake Erie, so most campgrounds close from November through April. Pro tip: book a fall foliage RV trip from East Aurora the second weekend of October for peak color along NY-16 and US-219.
weather.gov/buf/I've never rented an RV before. Will I be okay driving one in East Aurora?
You'll do great, even if it's your first time renting an RV. East Aurora is an ideal launching point because village streets are calm, NY-400 is a straightforward four-lane highway into Buffalo, and the surrounding Southtowns roads (NY-16, US-219, Olean Road) are wide and well-maintained. Every RVezy host gives you a full walkthrough at pickup, covering driving, leveling, the propane system, water tanks, and the awning, and you can text them throughout your trip with questions. Nervous about driving a big rig? Pick a Class B campervan or a smaller travel trailer for your first trip, or book delivery so you skip the driving entirely. Confidence builds fast.
dmv.ny.gov/driver-licenseWhat happens if something goes wrong on my trip?
You are never on your own. Every East Aurora RV rental from RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the renter protection plan, covering flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, fuel delivery, and towing. If a system on the RV acts up, message your host directly through the RVezy app and most respond within minutes, often talking you through the fix on the spot. RVezy customer support is also available before, during, and after your trip. Save the roadside number to your phone before you leave the host's driveway, and note that Colton RV in Orchard Park is a major service center about 10 minutes from East Aurora for parts and quick repairs.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my East Aurora RV rental across the border to Canada?
Cross-border trips to Canada are possible from East Aurora, but they depend on the host and the insurance attached to the listing. Many hosts do allow Canada travel since the Peace Bridge in Buffalo (20 miles away) and the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls (40 miles) make Toronto an easy 2-hour drive. Always message the host before booking to confirm, and bring your passport plus the host's signed permission letter at the border. Heads up: travel to Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental. For an in-country adventure, popular routes from East Aurora include the Finger Lakes wine trail, the Adirondacks, and a Lake Erie loop through Pennsylvania to Ohio.
cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/know-before-you-goWhat kind of fuel mileage should I expect, and what's gas like in East Aurora?
Plan ahead and fuel costs are easy to manage. Expect roughly 8 to 10 mpg for a Class A, 10 to 14 mpg for a Class C, 12 to 18 mpg for a campervan or Class B, and 14 to 20 mpg for a truck towing a travel trailer. Gas in the East Aurora area typically runs a few cents below the New York state average, with stations on Main Street, along NY-400, and at the Tops on Grey Street. For a 4-day, 400-mile loop through Letchworth and the Finger Lakes in a Class C, budget around $180 to $230 in fuel. Pro tip: fill up in East Aurora before heading south, prices climb in the rural stretches around Allegany.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book campgrounds near East Aurora?
For the best campgrounds near East Aurora, book early, especially for summer weekends. New York State Park campsites at Letchworth, Allegany, and Evangola open for reservations nine months in advance through ReserveAmerica, and the prime gorge-view loops at Letchworth often sell out within hours of opening. For a July or August Saturday, aim to book by January or February. Private campgrounds like Sleepy Hollow Lake, Cherry Hill, and HTR Niagara typically book up 2 to 4 months out. Need a last-minute spot? Try mid-week stays, check for cancellations on Sunday evenings, or look at Hipcamp for private-land sites that don't appear on the major reservation systems.
newyorkstateparks.reserveamerica.com/What are local driving conditions like around East Aurora?
Driving an RV around East Aurora is refreshingly mellow. The village sits in the rolling Southtowns hills southeast of Buffalo, with light traffic, gentle grades, and well-maintained two-lane roads like NY-16, NY-78 (Olean Road), and US-219. NY-400 connects you to I-90 in about 20 minutes for longer trips. Watch for two things: lake-effect snow squalls from November through March (most rentals are summer-only), and a few low railroad underpasses in nearby Buffalo, where you should stick to truck routes if you're driving a Class A or tall fifth wheel. Use NY 511 for real-time road and weather alerts. Otherwise, it's some of the easiest RV driving in the Northeast.
511ny.org/What amenities do campgrounds near East Aurora offer, and where can I dump and fill water?
Campgrounds near East Aurora cover the full spectrum. New York State Parks like Letchworth and Allegany offer electric hookups, potable water spigots, hot showers, and dump stations, while private parks like Sleepy Hollow Lake, Cherry Hill, and HTR Niagara typically include full hookups (water, electric, sewer), Wi-Fi, laundry, pools, and camp stores. For dumping and freshwater fills on the way back, Colton RV in Orchard Park (10 minutes from East Aurora) offers a free dump station, and most state parks allow non-campers to dump for a small fee. Pro tip: top off freshwater before leaving the host so you can boondock comfortably for a night or two at Allegany's quieter loops.
parks.ny.gov/parks/alleganyWhat features and equipment come standard in East Aurora RV rentals?
Most RV rentals in East Aurora come fully equipped and ready to camp. Expect a queen or king bed, a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and sink, a bathroom with shower and toilet, dinette seating that often converts to extra sleeping, air conditioning, a propane furnace, and a roof or onboard generator on motorhomes. Many listings include a TV, Bluetooth stereo, outdoor awning, and basic kitchen kit (dishes, pots, coffee maker). Wi-Fi varies, so plan to hotspot off your phone in rural areas like Allegany. Seatbelts are provided for the sleeps count listed, so confirm the legal passenger count matches your family before booking. Filter by Sleeps and amenities on RVezy to match your crew.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=East%20Aurora%2C%20New%20YorkWhat add-ons and pickup options are typical for a campervan rental East Aurora?
Hosts offering campervan rental in East Aurora and larger motorhomes typically have a menu of helpful add-ons: bedding and linen packages ($25 to $75), kitchen kits ($25 to $50), camping chairs and outdoor tables, bike racks, generators, propane refills, and pet cleaning fees ($50 to $100). Pickup is usually at the host's home in the East Aurora, Orchard Park, or West Seneca area, with a 30 to 60 minute walkthrough included. Mileage policies vary, with 100 free miles per night being the most common, and unlimited mileage available on some listings. Bundle add-ons when you book to lock in lower prices and avoid scrambling for camp chairs on day one.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=East%20Aurora%2C%20New%20YorkHow does payment work, and what about the security deposit?
Payment is simple and secure through RVezy. You pay the booking total (nightly rate, fees, and protection plan) using a credit card directly on the platform, no cash, no Venmo, no driveway handoffs. A separate refundable security deposit is held on your card before pickup (typically $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV), and it is released after the trip once the host confirms the RV was returned in good condition with fuel and tanks per the agreement. Take dated photos and a quick video walkaround at pickup and dropoff for the smoothest East Aurora return.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksWhat's a good RV road trip from East Aurora?
East Aurora is a perfect launchpad for a Western New York RV road trip. A classic 5-to-7-day loop: head 45 miles southeast to Letchworth State Park for two nights of gorge views and waterfall hikes, then swing 70 miles south to Allegany State Park for hiking, swimming at Quaker Lake, and Amish country detours along NY-16. Loop back northwest to Lake Erie's Evangola State Park for sunsets over the water, then finish with a day at Niagara Falls State Park (40 miles from East Aurora). Add the Finger Lakes wine trail (90 miles east) if you have extra days. Pro tip: stop in the village of Ellicottville for craft beer and skiing-town charm en route to Allegany.
