2022 Jayco Class C
Jason and Gina were excellent hosts.I don't want to say too much in case we were being spoilt but they are genuinely great people. RV was spotless, clean, cooled and full of water and petrol. We were newbies to RVing and any questions we had Jason answered quickly by what's app. Pick up and drop off were flawless and times were very flexible. Jason also dropped us back to the airport which was very handy. We would recommend hiring from Jason and Gina and he has some other trailers he rents out also.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Kenmore, NY
How much does it cost to rent an RV in Kenmore, NY?
RV rental in Kenmore is one of the more affordable ways to explore Western New York and Niagara country. Expect roughly $95 to $165 per night for travel trailers, $135 to $200 for Class C motorhomes, and $175 to $300+ for Class A motorhomes, depending on age, size, and season. You can stretch your budget by booking midweek, traveling in May or September (shoulder season), or filtering by Instant Book to find hosts running promotions. Pro tip: pairing a smaller travel trailer with a nearby state park site like Four Mile Creek is often the cheapest RV rental in Kenmore strategy for a full week away.
parks.ny.gov/campingWhat license do I need to rent an RV in Kenmore, NY?
Good news: your regular New York State driver's license (Class D) is all you need to rent and drive almost any RV on RVezy in Kenmore, including big Class A motorhomes and fifth wheels. No commercial driver's license (CDL) or special RV endorsement is required in New York. You just need to be 25 or older with a valid license, and you'll verify your ID right through the RVezy platform during booking. Visiting from outside the U.S.? Pick up an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your home country's auto club before you fly in, and you're cleared to hit the road toward Niagara Falls.
dmv.ny.gov/driver-license/driver-licensesIs RV rental insurance and roadside assistance included in Kenmore?
Yes, every RV rental in Kenmore booked through RVezy comes with a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance built into your reservation. The protection plan covers eligible damage to the RV during your trip, so you don't need to rely on your personal auto policy. During checkout you choose from different protection levels to match your comfort with coverage and deductibles (this is your choice, not the host's). If you get a flat on I-290 or a dead battery at a campground on Grand Island, one call gets help dispatched any time, day or night.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionWhat's the cancellation policy if my Kenmore RV trip plans change?
Booking an RV rental in Kenmore is low risk. RVezy applies a standardized cancellation policy across every listing, so you don't have to compare host-specific rules. There is a short grace period after booking for a full refund, with additional refund tiers based on how far in advance you cancel before pickup. If a major weather event such as a Lake Erie blizzard or a Buffalo travel advisory disrupts your trip, RVezy's support team can also review the situation. Lock in your dates with confidence knowing you have room to adjust if plans change.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Kenmore?
Yes, pet-friendly RV rental in Kenmore is easy to find. Toggle the Pet Friendly filter on RVezy and you'll see hosts who welcome dogs (and sometimes cats), often with no extra cleaning fee. Western New York is great for dog owners: Ellicott Creek Park in Tonawanda offers riverside trails just minutes from Kenmore, and Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora has open meadows for leashed walks. Most local campgrounds, including Niagara Falls KOA Holiday and Four Mile Creek State Park, allow leashed pets on a 6 foot lead. Pack a tie out, poop bags, and your dog's vaccination record and you're set.
parks.ny.gov/regulationsCan the RV be delivered to my campsite or address in Kenmore?
Yes, RV delivery in Kenmore is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first time renters who'd rather skip driving a big rig through Buffalo traffic. Many hosts will tow or drive the RV to your campground (such as Niagara Falls KOA Holiday, Branches of Niagara, or Evangola State Park), level it, hook up water and power, and walk you through every system before they leave. Delivery fees commonly run about $2 to $4 per mile each way, and some hosts offer flat rate setup packages. Filter listings by Delivery and message the host with your destination to confirm pricing and availability.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039217173-RV-deliveryHow many miles can I drive on a Kenmore RV rental?
Plenty. RVezy hosts in Kenmore set their own mileage policies, and many offer unlimited mileage packages or daily allowances of 100 to 200 miles, ideal for a Western New York road trip. From Kenmore you can reach Niagara Falls in about 20 minutes, Letchworth State Park in roughly 75 minutes, the Finger Lakes wine region in about 2 hours, and Watkins Glen in just under 3 hours, all within a comfortable daily mileage cap. Planning a bigger loop toward the Adirondacks or Pennsylvania? Filter for RV rental with unlimited mileage or message hosts upfront to add extra miles to your booking.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106074-Mileage-and-generator-usageWhere are the best campgrounds near Kenmore, NY?
You're spoiled for choice. The best campgrounds near Kenmore include Four Mile Creek State Park in Youngstown (about 25 miles north, with bluff-top sites overlooking Lake Ontario), Niagara Falls KOA Holiday in Grand Island (10 miles, full hookups and a pool), Evangola State Park on Lake Erie (35 miles south with a sandy beach), Letchworth State Park's Highbanks Campground (75 miles southeast, "Grand Canyon of the East"), and Branches of Niagara Campground & Resort on Grand Island (15 miles, family-friendly with cabins). All of these accept RVs and most have electric and water hookups. Pro tip: state park sites are about half the price of private resorts.
parks.ny.gov/parks/fourmilecreekWhen is the best time to rent an RV in Kenmore, NY?
Late May through early October is prime time for RV camping in Kenmore, with the sweet spot from mid-June to late September. Summer highs typically reach the upper 70s to mid 80s F, perfect for Niagara River paddling, while nights cool into the 60s. September is a local favorite: campgrounds quiet down, foliage starts turning in the Southern Tier, and you'll often find better nightly rates on your RV rental in New York. October brings stunning fall colors with cooler nights in the 40s, so a furnace equipped rig is smart. Many Kenmore area hosts also rent in winter for Buffalo Bills tailgates at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, an experience all its own.
weather.gov/buf/I've never rented an RV before, will I be okay?
Yes, first time renting an RV is genuinely easier than most people expect, and Kenmore is a great place to start. Every RVezy host gives you a hands-on walkthrough at pickup covering the basics: driving, leveling, hookups, propane, slide-outs, and the toilet system. Take 10 minutes of video on your phone during orientation so you can rewind later at the campsite. For your first night, book somewhere close like Niagara Falls KOA or Branches of Niagara on Grand Island, both have helpful staff and full hookups so you can practice in low-stress mode. And remember, your host is just a text away and RVezy's support team is available 24/7.
nhtsa.gov/road-safety/recreational-vehicle-safetyWhat happens if the RV breaks down during my trip?
You're covered. Every Kenmore RV rental through RVezy includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, so help is one phone call away whether you're on I-190 heading to Niagara or out in the Allegany hills. Roadside assistance covers common issues like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, fuel delivery, and towing to the nearest qualified service center. For mechanical issues, contact your host first since they know their RV best, then loop in RVezy support if you need backup. Save the roadside number and your host's contact in your phone before pulling out of the driveway in Kenmore so you're ready for anything.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008594-Roadside-assistanceCan I take my Kenmore RV rental across the border into Canada?
Often yes, but always confirm first. Kenmore sits just 20 minutes from the Peace Bridge and Rainbow Bridge crossings into Ontario, making a Niagara-on-the-Lake or Toronto RV road trip from Kenmore very tempting. Many RVezy hosts allow cross-border travel into Canada, but it depends on the host's insurance, so message them through the listing before booking to get written approval. You'll need a passport (or enhanced driver's license), proof of insurance, and the host's permission letter at the border. Heads up: travel into Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental because insurance coverage doesn't extend there.
cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/know-before-you-goWhat kind of gas mileage should I budget for in a Kenmore RV?
Realistically, plan for 8 to 10 miles per gallon (mpg) for a Class A motorhome, 10 to 14 mpg for a Class C, 18 to 22 mpg for a Class B campervan rental in Kenmore, and 10 to 14 mpg combined for your tow vehicle plus travel trailer. Western New York gas prices typically run a bit higher than the national average due to state fuel taxes, so check GasBuddy before fill-ups, the Thruway service plazas are usually pricier than stations along Sheridan Drive or Niagara Falls Boulevard. For a 4-day trip with 400 miles of driving in a Class C, budget roughly $150 to $200 in fuel. Filling up the night before pickup avoids return-day stress.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book campgrounds near Kenmore?
Book early to lock in the best sites. New York State Park campgrounds like Four Mile Creek, Evangola, and Letchworth open reservations 9 months in advance through ReserveAmerica, and prime summer weekends (especially July 4th and Labor Day) fill up within hours of release. For private parks like Niagara Falls KOA or Branches of Niagara, aim for 2 to 3 months out for summer weekends. Midweek and shoulder-season trips? You can often book just a week or two ahead. Pro tip: if a summer weekend looks full, check Tuesday at 9 a.m. Eastern when cancellations frequently get released back into the system on ReserveAmerica.
newyorkstateparks.reserveamerica.com/What are driving conditions like around Kenmore in an RV?
Driving an RV around Kenmore is very manageable once you know the local quirks. The village sits right off I-290 with easy access to I-190 north toward Niagara Falls and south into Buffalo, all flat terrain with wide shoulders. Watch for the Scajaquada Expressway (NY-198), which has a 30 mph limit and low clearances under bridges in Delaware Park, so route around it for taller rigs (anything over 10'6"). Lake-effect snow can hit hard from late November through March, especially the Southtowns, so check 511NY before winter drives. Summer construction on the I-90 Thruway is common, leave 15 extra minutes during peak times.
511ny.org/What amenities will I find at campgrounds around Kenmore?
Western New York campgrounds are well equipped for RV camping in Kenmore and the surrounding region. State parks like Four Mile Creek and Evangola offer electric hookups (typically 30-amp), potable water fill stations, dump stations, hot showers, flush toilets, and picnic tables at every site. Private resorts like Niagara Falls KOA and Branches of Niagara step it up with full hookups (water, sewer, 30/50-amp electric), Wi-Fi, pools, laundry, propane refills, and camp stores. Need to dump tanks mid-trip? The Walmart in Niagara Falls and several Pilot/Flying J stations along the I-90 corridor have dump stations. Always reserve a hookup site if your RV doesn't have a generator.
parks.ny.gov/camping/campsites/default.aspxWhat's actually included inside a Kenmore RV rental?
More than you'd think. A typical motorhome rental in Kenmore comes fully equipped: a real bed (often a queen), a kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and basic cookware, a bathroom with toilet and shower, a dinette that converts to extra sleeping, air conditioning, a furnace, and seatbelts for travel. Most Class C and Class A rigs sleep 4 to 6 comfortably; family-friendly bunkhouse models sleep 8. Many hosts include linens, towels, a starter pack of toilet paper, and outdoor camp chairs. Wi-Fi and generators vary, check the listing's amenities tab. Pro tip: ask your host about a starter propane tank and full freshwater fill at pickup.
nhtsa.gov/road-safety/recreational-vehicle-safetyWhat add-ons and pickup options can I choose for my Kenmore RV?
Lots of helpful extras make your Kenmore RV trip easier. Common add-ons hosts offer include linen and towel packages ($25 to $75), kitchen kits, generator use ($3 to $10/hour beyond included hours), bike racks, outdoor grills, camp chair sets, propane refills, and pet packages. Delivery and setup is a popular one in the Buffalo-Niagara area (usually $2 to $4 per mile each way). Pickup is normally at the host's address in or near Kenmore, with a 30 to 60-minute orientation walkthrough; dropoff is at the same location with a quick exterior check. Mileage policies vary by host, some offer unlimited, others 100 to 150 miles per day with affordable overage rates of $0.30 to $0.45 per mile.
kenmoreny.org/How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
Payment is simple and secure. When you book your RV rental in Kenmore on RVezy, you pay through the platform with a credit or debit card, no cash or e-transfers to hosts. A security deposit (commonly $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV's value) is pre-authorized on your card before your trip and is separate from your booking payment, not actually charged unless there's damage or a policy violation. After a clean return, the hold is released back to your card, typically within a few business days. To avoid surprise charges, take timestamped photos at pickup and dropoff, return with the agreed fuel and propane levels, and empty the tanks if your host requires it.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksWhat are the best road trip destinations from Kenmore, NY?
Kenmore is a fantastic launchpad for an RV road trip. Top picks: Niagara Falls State Park (20 miles, 25 minutes) for the iconic mist and Maid of the Mist; Letchworth State Park (75 miles, 90 minutes) for the "Grand Canyon of the East" and three massive waterfalls; Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes wine trail (140 miles, 2.5 hours) for gorge hikes and Rieslings; Allegany State Park (75 miles, 90 minutes) for 65,000 acres of forest and lake camping; and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario (35 miles, 1 hour with border wait) for wineries and quaint shops. Cleveland is just 3.5 hours west on I-90 if you want a longer haul. Each of these makes a perfect 2 to 4 night escape.
