This was an incredible camping experience! It was the ideal way to camp, as we had always used tents before. It was fantastic that the RV was delivered and ready to use! There was ample space for my family to enjoy the room without feeling cramped. A big storm rolled in, and it was a great place to come together and use the appliances inside to cook dinner and watch a movie as a family. I highly recommend this rental for anyone seeking a great camping stay, and for anyone who has always wanted to try out the RV experience!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Belton, SC

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Belton, SC?

RV rental in Belton, SC is one of the most affordable ways to explore the Upstate. Travel trailers typically start around $80 to $150 per night, while Class C motorhomes range from $175 to $275 per night and larger Class A motorhomes can run $200 to $400 per night. Do I need a special driver's license to rent an RV in Belton?

Good news: for nearly every RV rental in Belton, SC, your regular Class D driver's license is all you need. South Carolina only requires a Class E or Class F non-commercial license if the RV's gross vehicle weight exceeds 26,000 pounds, which applies to a small handful of very large Class A motorhomes. The travel trailers, campervans, and Class C motorhomes that make up the majority of RVezy listings around Belton fall well under that threshold. You'll need to be 25 or older with a valid license, and RVezy verifies your ID securely through the booking platform. Visiting from abroad? Grab an International Driving Permit (IDP) before your trip and you're set.

What protection and roadside support comes with my Belton RV rental?

Every RVezy booking in Belton automatically includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you can head toward Lake Hartwell or the Blue Ridge foothills with confidence. You choose your preferred protection tier during checkout (this is set by RVezy, not the host), and each plan covers most damage to the RV during your trip. If you get a flat on I-85 or a dead battery at Sadlers Creek State Park, one call gets help dispatched. What if I need to cancel my Belton RV rental?

RVezy uses a clear, platform-wide cancellation policy, so terms are the same across every Belton listing and are not set by individual hosts. Because the policy is standardized, you can compare RVs in Belton based on the rig and host, knowing the cancellation rules are consistent. If a host cancels on you, RVezy will help rebook a comparable RV or issue a refund. Tip: book early to lock in the RV you want for popular weekends like Clemson football Saturdays. Spring and fall are absolutely magical for RV camping in Belton, with daytime highs in the comfortable 65°F to 80°F range and crisp evenings perfect for campfires. April and May bring blooming dogwoods and azaleas, while October showcases brilliant fall color across the nearby Blue Ridge foothills. I've never rented an RV before. How does it work in Belton?

First time renting an RV? You're going to love how easy RVezy makes it. Every Belton host provides a hands-on orientation at pickup or delivery, walking you through the generator, slide-outs, water systems, propane, and dump procedures. You can message the host with questions before you book, and they're available throughout your trip if anything comes up. Most first-timers in the Belton area choose a Class C motorhome or a small travel trailer because they drive much like an oversized van or pickup. Pro tip: ask your host for delivery to Lake Hartwell State Park for your first trip, then you can focus on relaxing instead of backing into a campsite.

Belton is in a sweet spot for stress-free RV driving: rolling Piedmont terrain, wide rural highways, and easy access to I-85 without big-city traffic headaches. Watch for narrow shoulders on country roads near Lake Hartwell and be mindful of clearance on older bridges (stick to marked truck routes). Summer afternoon thunderstorms can be intense, so plan driving for mornings when possible.
