All advance camping reservations must be made online at camping.nj.gov, same-day reservations can be made online until 2 p.m., and walk-in reservations are accepted only if space is available. The Spruce Run Park Office at 908-638-8572 administers reservations for both Spruce Run and Voorhees State Park. Check-in and stay rules are standardized across state facilities. Each campsite has a six-person limit outside of designated group sites, and no person may occupy a camping facility for more than 40 nights in a year. Cancellation policies apply after check-in, with fees deducted from any refund due. Private campgrounds such as Crystal Springs Wilderness Lodges and RV Resort and Timberland Lake Campground book directly through their own websites or by phone, and often require deposits in advance.
