Campgrounds and RV parks near Gouldtown, NJ

Gouldtown sits in Cumberland County in southern New Jersey, within easy driving range of the Pine Barrens, the Delaware Bay shoreline, and the Jersey Shore beaches. The area is flat, wooded, and rural, with pine and oak forest giving way to farmland and small towns. RV travelers use it as a quiet base between Philadelphia and the coast. The closest public camping is Parvin State Park, which offers 56 tent and trailer campsites along the south shore of Parvin Lake, each with a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. Private options within a short drive include Adventure Bound Tall Pines, Four Seasons Campgrounds, and Old Cedar Campground. New Jersey Motorsports Park in nearby Millville also offers on-site camping tied to race weekends. Most sites in this part of New Jersey sit under tall pines on sandy soil, so drainage is generally good after rain. Rigs of typical Class C and travel-trailer length fit comfortably at private parks, while state park sites favor smaller setups.

State park sites are reserved through New Jersey's central system. Online reservations can be made at camping.nj.gov, or by phone. The reservation window opens up to 11 months in advance, so summer weekends and cabins at Parvin State Park should be locked in early. Private campgrounds handle their own bookings. Adventure Bound Tall Pines, Four Seasons Campgrounds, and Old Cedar Campground take reservations directly through their websites or by phone, and many list availability on aggregator platforms as well. Holiday weekends, themed events, and race weekends at New Jersey Motorsports Park fill first, sometimes months out. For flexible mid-week trips in shoulder season, shorter lead times usually work.
