For state land, Stephens State Park in Hackettstown provides tent and small-trailer sites along the Musconetcong River, open seasonally from April 1 through October 31. Camp Wyanokie is a rustic camping area in the Norvin Green State Forest that does not accommodate RVs and has no running water or electricity, offering only basic facilities such as latrines and fire rings. Goodland Country Club and Spa in Hackettstown rounds out the private options in the area.
