Reservations for Stephens State Park go through the New Jersey state system at camping.nj.gov. Sites can be booked online in advance, with a two-night minimum and a fourteen-night maximum. Non-resident rates are higher than resident rates, and the primary occupant must be at least eighteen. Private parks book directly. Panther Lake Camping Resort, The Great Divide Campground, and Fla-Net Park each take reservations through their own websites or by phone. Cancellation policies at the private parks tend to be strict: advance notice is typically required, deposits may be non-refundable, and reductions are generally not made for early departures or weather. For summer weekends and holidays, book well ahead. State park sites and lakeside spots at the larger resorts fill first.
