Campgrounds and RV parks near Rosenhayn, NJ

Rosenhayn sits in Cumberland County in southwestern New Jersey, on the edge of the Pine Barrens and roughly 40 miles south of Philadelphia. The area combines pine and hardwood forest with farmland, and campgrounds within a short drive range from a state park with rustic sites to full-hookup family resorts. The closest public option is Parvin State Park, located just west near Pittsgrove Township in Salem County. It offers 56 tent and trailer campsites along the south shore of Parvin Lake, 18 furnished cabins along the north shore of Thundergust Lake, and four group sites, all operated by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. Private campgrounds in the area include Adventure Bound Tall Pines in Elmer, a family camping resort with over 300 sites, plus Old Cedar Campground and Four Seasons Campgrounds. New Jersey Motorsports Park in nearby Millville also draws RV travelers during race weekends. The mix of state park camping and private resorts makes the region workable for both quiet lakeside stays and activity-heavy family trips.

Parvin State Park reservations are handled through the New Jersey State Park Service system at camping.nj.gov, with online booking available up to 11 months in advance. Cabins fill fastest and should be booked as early as possible for summer weekends. Private campgrounds in the area take reservations directly through their own websites or through third-party platforms. Adventure Bound Tall Pines books on its site and through Campspot, and other nearby parks such as Old Cedar Campground and Four Seasons Campgrounds accept direct reservations. For race weekends at New Jersey Motorsports Park, nearby campgrounds tend to sell out first, so lock in dates well ahead. Check length limits and hookup type when booking: Parvin's sites have no water, electric, or sewer hookups, while private resorts in the region typically offer full or partial hookups.
