Campgrounds and RV parks near Stewartsville, NJ

Stewartsville sits in Greenwich Township in western Warren County, just off I-78 near the Pennsylvania border, about an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia. The location puts RV travelers within a short drive of the Delaware River corridor, the Musconetcong Mountains, and the Skylands region of northwestern New Jersey, with the Lehigh Valley and Pocono foothills just across the state line. Campground options mix small family-run parks with a state-run reservoir campground and larger resort-style properties. Mountainview Campground, family-owned since 1953 and located on the south side of the Musconetcong Mountains in Hunterdon County, only 5 miles from the Delaware River, offers a rustic base for tents and RVs. Ringing Rocks Family Campground sits near Ringing Rocks County Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, while Colonial Woods Family Resort in Upper Black Eddy adds a full-amenity resort option. For river access, Driftstone on the Delaware provides riverside sites on the Pennsylvania bank, and Spruce Run State Recreational Area anchors the region's public land camping on a 1,290-acre reservoir in Hunterdon County.

For Spruce Run State Recreational Area, reservations are handled through New Jersey's state system. All advance camping reservations must be made online at camping.nj.gov, and same-day reservations can be made online until 2:00 p.m. Walk-in reservations are accepted if space is available; call the park office or check the campground's availability view online the morning of your intended arrival. Note that pets and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the campground. Private parks each run their own booking. Mountainview Campground takes reservations directly. Colonial Woods Family Resort and Ringing Rocks Family Campground book through their own sites, and Driftstone on the Delaware accepts reservations by phone or in person for its mid-May to mid-October season. For summer weekends and holidays, plan to reserve several weeks or months out.
