Most private resorts in this corridor offer full-hookup pull-through and back-in sites, dump stations, laundry, and family amenities including pools, playgrounds, and organized activities. Cell service is generally reliable in the valley and patchier in the Shawangunk foothills. Firewood-transport rules apply at state campgrounds, with untreated wood restricted to a fifty-mile source radius. Quiet hours at state parks run from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
