Together these five parks cover the range from primitive state-park sites to full-hookup resort stays.

State park sites use the New York State Parks reservation system. Reservations can be made online or through the ReserveAmerica call centre at 1-800-456-2267. Reservations must be made 1 day ahead of arrival and can be made up to 9 months in advance, and same-day campsite reservations are allowed until 3:00 PM, and walk-ins are permitted subject to availability after 3:00 PM. Private parks book directly. The Newburgh KOA takes reservations through the KOA website or by phone, and Interlake RV Park & Campground, Sylvan Lake Beach Park Inc, and Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Lazy River each manage their own booking systems. Book summer weekends and fall foliage dates well ahead, particularly for full-hookup sites and cabins. For RV renters, confirm site length and hookup type before finalizing a booking.
