Dunnstown is a small community in Clinton County on the north bank of the West Branch Susquehanna River, directly across from Lock Haven and within reach of the Pennsylvania Wilds region. The area sits at the edge of the Bald Eagle and Tiadaghton state forests, which gives RV travelers access to mountain terrain, trout streams, and multiple state parks within a short drive. Options close to town range from private RV parks to state park campgrounds. Holiday Pines Campground and Pine Village are among the closest private options, while Happy Acres Resort sits across from Little Pine State Park in Waterville and offers full-service sites with an on-site restaurant. Little Pine State Park itself provides electric sites along Little Pine Creek. Farther southwest in Penns Valley, Woodward Cave and Campground pairs grassy electric and non-electric sites with tours of one of the largest caverns in the state. Route 150 and US 220 connect Dunnstown to the interstate system, making the area a practical base for families exploring north-central Pennsylvania.

Little Pine State Park uses the statewide Pennsylvania State Parks reservation system, run through ReserveAmerica. Sites can be booked online or by phone at 888-PA-PARKS, Monday through Saturday. Reservations must be made at least three days ahead of arrival and can be placed up to eleven months in advance. The park has 88 sites, of which 83 accommodate trailers up to 20 feet and five are tent-only. Private campgrounds handle their own bookings. Holiday Pines Campground, Pine Village, Happy Acres Resort, and Woodward Cave and Campground each take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. For summer weekends and fall foliage dates, book several months out. Confirm rig-length limits and hookup type when reserving, since site specs vary between parks.
