Campgrounds and RV parks near Siesta Acres, TX

Siesta Acres is a small census-designated place on the U.S.-Mexico border, positioned a few miles north of Eagle Pass along U.S. Route 277. The community sits in Maverick County on the Texas side of the Rio Grande, directly opposite Piedras Negras, Coahuila. RV travelers use it as a staging point for border crossings, casino visits, and drives to Del Rio and Amistad National Recreation Area to the north. Campground options in the immediate area lean toward full-hookup private parks rather than public campgrounds. Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel operates on tribal land near Eagle Pass, while SB- RV Park and RV Barn Campground serve overnight and extended-stay travelers closer to town. Triple R Resort RV Park sits farther north near Crystal City, roughly 40 miles from Eagle Pass, and draws long-term guests with 176 full-hookup sites along the Nueces River. For those willing to drive north on US-277, Hidden Valley RV Park in Del Rio provides access to Lake Amistad and the wider Val Verde County recreation area. The terrain is flat South Texas brush country, and sites are generally sunny with limited shade.

Private RV parks in and around Eagle Pass generally take reservations directly by phone or through their own websites. Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel handles RV inquiries through its property reservations line, while SB- RV Park, Triple R Resort RV Park, and RV Barn Campground typically confirm sites by phone. Hidden Valley RV Park in Del Rio also books direct through the park office. For winter stays, contact parks several months in advance. Many long-term guests rebook the same site year over year, so availability tightens sharply from October onward. Summer and shoulder-season overnight stays are usually easier to secure on shorter notice. At Amistad National Recreation Area, the developed campgrounds are primitive and operate first-come, first-served rather than through an online portal, so plan to arrive early on holiday weekends.
