There are many things that made this trailer a great choice for us. First, David is a very friendly, accommodating host. He provided a smooth beginning to our camping week by providing delivery and set up of the trailer. We appreciated the chairs, beach umbrella, foldable wagon, tea towels and dishcloths, clothes line and all the little extras provided. David gave us clear details about how everything worked at set up time and was responsive and accommodating during the week when we reached out with a question. This is a very clean trailer. We enjoyed the comfortable queen bed after busy days with children and grandchildren. We camped during some very hot weather and were glad to have the ac. The large fridge/freezer held a week’s worth of pre-prepared meals for 6 making mealtime easy. We hope we can arrange to use David’s trailer again for our next trip to Awenda. Thank you!

On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $100 to $150 CAD per night, Class C motorhomes range from $200 to $300 CAD per night, and luxury Class A rigs run higher in peak summer. What happens if I need to cancel my Tiny RV rental?

You are not locked in. RVezy (not individual hosts) sets the cancellation policy across the platform, and every booking includes a grace period after you book during which you can cancel for a full refund. After that, refund amounts depend on how far out you are from your trip start date. If a host ever cancels on you, RVezy will help with a refund or travel credit so your Tiny RV trip stays on track. Review the full cancellation policy on the RVezy Help Center before you book, and reach out to support any time your plans change.

Can I bring my dog on a pet-friendly RV rental in Tiny?

Absolutely, Tiny is a great destination for dogs. Many RVezy hosts offer pet-friendly RV rental in Tiny, just toggle the Pet-Friendly filter when you search. Awenda Provincial Park has a designated pet beach where leashed dogs are welcome, and Tiny Marsh and the Tiny Trail System also allow leashed dogs. Message the host before booking to confirm any pet fees or size limits, and pack a towel because sandy paws are part of the deal. It is one of the easiest ways to bring the whole family along on a Georgian Bay getaway.

Can the RV be delivered to my campsite or cottage in Tiny?

Yes, RV delivery in Tiny is one of the most popular options on RVezy, especially for first-time renters. Many hosts will tow or drive the RV directly to Awenda Provincial Park, Georgian Bay Park on Crossland Road, Wasaga Dunes RV Resort, or a private cottage driveway anywhere in Tiny Township. They'll level it, hook up water, sewer, and 30 or 50 amp power, and walk you through every system before handing you the keys. Use the Delivery filter when searching to see hosts who offer this service. It's the easiest way to enjoy a Tiny RV trip without ever towing a trailer yourself.

How does mileage work, and how far can I drive from Tiny?

Mileage is flexible on RVezy. Hosts set their own daily kilometre allowance (typically 100 to 200 km per day), and some offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, perfect for a longer Ontario road trip. From Tiny you are about 1 hour 45 minutes to Toronto (around 150 km), 2.5 hours to the west gate of Algonquin Provincial Park (around 220 km), about 45 minutes to Blue Mountain in Collingwood (around 55 km), and roughly 3 hours to Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula (around 235 km). Check the mileage policy on each listing before booking, and message the host if you are planning a bigger loop. Extra kilometres typically run $0.25 to $0.45 CAD each.

Where are the best campgrounds near Tiny, Ontario?

You're spoiled for choice. The best campgrounds near Tiny include Awenda Provincial Park (670 Awenda Park Road, 333 sites across six campgrounds with electrical in Wolf and Hawk loops), Georgian Bay Park (4230 Crossland Road, fully serviced 50-amp sites with a heated pool), Wasaga Dunes RV Resort just minutes from Wasaga Beach, and Bayview Park Campground near Penetanguishene. For something quieter, several Hipcamp-style private properties in Tiny offer secluded sites on private farmland. Awenda is the local favourite for RV camping in Tiny because of the shaded sugar maple canopy and walking-distance access to five Georgian Bay beaches.
ontarioparks.ca/park/awenda

When is the best time to visit Tiny for an RV trip?

The sweet spot for an RV road trip from Tiny is late May through mid-October, which aligns with the Awenda Provincial Park camping season. July and August bring the warmest weather, with average highs near 25 to 26 degrees Celsius and Georgian Bay water temperatures ideal for the beaches. June and September are the insider choice with milder 18 to 22 degree days, fewer crowds, and lower rental rates. Late September brings spectacular fall colours in the sugar maples and red oaks. Winters are cold with lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay, so most campgrounds close, though a few hosts list winter-ready RVs.

I've never rented an RV before. Will I be okay?

You've got this. First time renting an RV is a breeze on RVezy because every host gives you a full walkthrough at pickup or delivery, covering propane, water tanks, the generator, slide-outs, and how to level the rig. You can message your host before booking with any question, and 24/7 roadside assistance is just a phone call away. Tiny Township's roads are mostly flat, low-traffic, and well-paved (Highway 93 and County Road 6 are the main arteries), making it an ideal first-timer destination. Choose a smaller Class B campervan rental in Tiny or a 20-foot travel trailer if you're nervous about size, then enjoy the ride.
ontario.ca/page/driving-and-roads

What happens if something goes wrong on the road?

You are never alone out there. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, so a flat tire on Tiny Beaches Road or a dead battery at Awenda is handled with one phone call. For mechanical or operational questions, your host is your first point of contact because they know their rig best, and the RVezy support team is available before, during, and after your trip. The nearest full-service RV repair shops are in Midland and Barrie, both within easy reach of central Tiny. OPP non-emergency assistance is also available at 1-888-310-1122 if you ever need it.

Can I drive my Tiny RV rental into the United States?

Cross-border travel from Tiny to the United States is possible on many RVezy rentals, but it depends on the individual host listing and insurance coverage. Always message the host before booking to confirm US travel is permitted and that your protection plan covers it. You will need a valid passport, and the closest crossings at Niagara Falls or Sarnia are roughly 2.5 to 3.5 hours from Tiny. Travel to Mexico is not permitted on any RVezy rental due to insurance limitations. Popular cross-border routes from Tiny include the Adirondacks or down to Michigan via Sault Ste. Marie.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validity

What should I budget for fuel on a Tiny RV trip?

Fuel is usually the second-biggest line item after the rental itself, so let us make it predictable. Gas prices in Simcoe County typically run $1.50 to $1.75 CAD per litre. A Class C motorhome averages about 18 to 22 litres per 100 km, so a 200 km weekend loop around Awenda, Midland, and Penetanguishene costs roughly $60 to $80 in fuel. Travel trailers towed behind a pickup are usually more efficient overall, around 14 to 18 litres per 100 km combined. Pro tip: fill up in Midland or Wasaga Beach where prices are usually lower than smaller stations in Lafontaine or Perkinsfield.
ontario.ca/page/gasoline-prices

How far in advance should I book a campground near Tiny?

Book early and you'll thank yourself. Awenda Provincial Park opens reservations exactly 5 months ahead through the Ontario Parks reservation system, and popular summer weekends (especially July long weekend and Civic Holiday) sell out within hours of the booking window opening. Private parks like Georgian Bay Park and Wasaga Dunes RV Resort fill 2 to 3 months ahead for July and August. For shoulder-season camping in June, September, or early October, 2 to 3 weeks notice is usually enough. Pro tip: if Awenda shows sold out, set a cancellation alert because sites open up regularly as plans change.

What are the driving conditions like in Tiny Township?

Driving in Tiny is mostly relaxed and RV-friendly. Roads are flat to gently rolling, with Highway 93, County Road 6, and Tiny Beaches Road as the main routes connecting beaches, campgrounds, and the towns of Midland and Penetanguishene. Traffic peaks on summer Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings as cottagers head to and from the GTA via Highway 400. Watch for seasonal half-load restrictions from March 1 to May 1, when some township roads limit heavy vehicles during the spring thaw. Winter brings lake-effect snow off Georgian Bay, so most RV trips happen May through October when conditions are easy.
tiny.ca/services/public-works/roads

What amenities will I find at campgrounds near Tiny?

You'll find a great mix. Awenda Provincial Park offers six campgrounds with vault toilets, drinking water taps, and central comfort stations with flush toilets and hot showers. Wolf Campground and parts of Hawk have electrical hook-ups, and there's a central dump station and potable water fill near the park entrance. Georgian Bay Park and Wasaga Dunes RV Resort offer full hook-ups (50-amp electric, water, and sewer right at your site) plus heated pools, laundry, and Wi-Fi. For dumping and freshwater between trips, Awenda's sanitation station and the Midland-area private parks are the easiest stops. Most parks sell ice and firewood on-site.
ontarioparks.ca/park/awenda/camping

What is inside the RVs available in Tiny?

Plenty of comfort. RVs listed on RVezy in Tiny typically sleep 4 to 8 people and come fully equipped: a real bed (often a queen), a kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, and sink, a bathroom with toilet and shower, a dining area, and seatbelts for travel. Most include air conditioning, a propane furnace, an awning, and basic cookware. Class C and Class A motorhomes often add a generator, backup camera, and TV. Wi-Fi varies based on cell coverage (spotty inside Awenda but solid in central Tiny). Each RVezy listing shows exactly what is included, along with real guest reviews and photos of every sleeping area.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Tiny%2C%20Ontario

What add-ons can I get with my Tiny RV rental?

Hosts in Tiny offer lots of extras to make your trip easier. Common add-ons include linen and bedding packages ($30 to $75), kitchen kits, outdoor chairs and tables, BBQs and propane, bikes, kayaks and SUPs (perfect for Georgian Bay), generators, and even pet packages. Many hosts in the Midland and Penetanguishene area offer delivery and setup for $100 to $300 depending on distance. Pickup is typically 1:00 to 3:00 PM and dropoff 10:00 to 11:00 AM, though flexible hosts will adjust if asked. Always check the mileage policy and any per-night minimums on the listing, and message the host to combine add-ons into a package deal.
tiny.ca/visitors

How does payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?

Payment is simple and secure. When you book your RV rental in Tiny, you pay through the RVezy platform using a credit card, and the booking total is charged when the host accepts your request. A refundable security deposit (typically $500 to $1,500 CAD depending on the rig) is pre-authorized on your card a few days before pickup and is held separately from your booking payment. As long as you return the RV on time, in similar condition, and follow the trip terms, the hold is released after dropoff. To avoid any issues, do a thorough walkaround with photos at pickup and return and keep your fuel receipts.
