Rented the RV for a family camping trip to a local state beach. RV looked fantastic, great condition, and comfortably slept a family of 4 without any issues. When I picked up the RV initially, Mark walked me through everything. And when I was at the campsite trying to figure something out, I text him and he responded right away to walk me through it. It was a great experience. This RV was supplied with most amenities we needed for a comfortable stay at the Newport Dunes. The propane stove works so much better than most RVs I’ve rented. Dennis and his wife are very nice. They respond to all of my questions right away. However, the only tricky thing I didn’t anticipate was picking up and dropping off of the RV. There’s no parking for visitors except the OC Great Parks across the street. I recommend have someone drop you off. Nevertheless, they were very accommodating and drove me to and from my car parked at the Park.

RV in great condition. Dennys was very communicative and rest went smoothly. Recommended.

Anything unique about driving an RV in Irvine or around Orange County?

Driving an RV rental in Irvine is generally easy thanks to wide, well-maintained roads and clearly signed highways like the 5, 405, and 73. Avoid rush hour on weekdays from 7 to 9 am and 4 to 7 pm when freeways get congested, and watch for low clearance at parking garages and some drive-throughs. Overnight street parking is restricted in most Orange County cities, so plan to stay at official campgrounds or RV parks. Coastal routes like Pacific Coast Highway offer scenic drives but include tight turns and busy beach traffic in summer.

What RV hookups and amenities should I expect at campgrounds near Irvine?

Hookups vary by campground near Irvine. Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort offers full hookups with water, electric, and sewer, while Canyon RV Park in Anaheim provides water and electric with a dump station on site. State park campgrounds like Bolsa Chica and Crystal Cove typically offer more basic amenities, sometimes without sewer hookups, so plan to use dump stations on the way in or out. Check each campground's website for details on WiFi, laundry, showers, and other facilities before you book.
