For most RVs listed on RVezy, a standard Class C Texas driver's license (or your home-state equivalent) is all you need to rent an RV in Rio Grande City. Texas only requires a non-commercial Class A or B license if the motorhome exceeds 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight rating, which excludes nearly every campervan, travel trailer, and Class C on the platform. RVezy generally requires renters to be at least 25 years old, and your ID is verified during checkout. International guests should bring an International Driving Permit along with their home-country license.

Every RV rental in Rio Grande City booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so flat tires on US-83, a dead battery at Falcon State Park, or unexpected mechanical issues are handled with one call. At checkout you choose your protection level, and each tier offers different coverage limits for damage to the RV. This is not traditional auto insurance, but it provides real financial protection and removes a lot of the stress from your South Texas trip. You choose your plan, not the host, so you stay in control of how much coverage you carry.

Booking is low-risk on RVezy. The cancellation policy is set by RVezy across the platform (hosts do not set their own), and it includes a grace period right after booking so you can lock in your dates with confidence. Refund amounts after that window depend on how far out you are from the trip start date. If severe weather or a natural event such as a hurricane affects the Rio Grande Valley, RVezy support works with you on options. For full details, review the cancellation terms in your booking confirmation or contact RVezy support before booking with any specific questions.

Most renters receive their full deposit back within a few days.
