Campgrounds and RV parks near Las Lomas, CA

Las Lomas sits in northern Monterey County on County Route G12, between Prunedale and Pajaro, just inland from the Elkhorn Slough and Monterey Bay. The community lies on a low ridge above the Pajaro Valley, with the Elkhorn Slough tidal estuary flowing into Monterey Bay just to the south. That position makes it a practical RV base for trips up the coast to Santa Cruz, south to Monterey and Cannery Row, and east into the Salinas Valley. RV options nearby split between coastal state-park camping and full-hookup private parks. Sunset State Beach offers pine-shaded sites on a bluff above the Pacific, while the Moss Landing KOA Express sits closer to the harbor and slough. Inland, Pinto Lake RV Park in Watsonville delivers full hookups at a small lakeside city park, and the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds provides large, level sites when fair and event traffic permits. South toward the Salinas River, the Salinas / Monterey KOA gives a quieter agricultural setting with easy access to Highway 101 and Highway 1.

California State Parks sites use ReserveCalifornia. Reservations for Sunset State Beach are made through that system, and the booking window opens six months ahead of arrival. For popular summer dates, set a reminder and log in the moment the window opens, since coastal sites fill quickly. KOA properties, including Moss Landing KOA Express and the Salinas / Monterey KOA, are booked directly through KOA's website or by phone. Pinto Lake RV Park is owned by the City of Watsonville and operated by a concessionaire, with reservations handled through the park operator's online system. Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds RV sites are booked through the fairgrounds office, with availability tied to the event calendar.
