Valley Springs sits in the Sierra foothills of Calaveras County, California, within a short drive of three large reservoirs: Camanche, Pardee, and New Hogan. The town works well as a base for RV travelers because most nearby campgrounds are reservoir-side parks built for boaters, anglers, and families, with paved access from Highway 12 and Highway 26.
