Campgrounds and RV parks near Brookfield, NJ

Brookfield is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located within White Township, in Warren County, New Jersey, in the state's northwestern Skylands region. The area sits just east of the Delaware River, within a short drive of the Delaware Water Gap, a mountain pass where the river cuts between Blue Mountain and Kittatinny Mountain. That location puts RV renters within reach of both riverside private campgrounds and public land managed by the National Park Service and New Jersey State Park Service. The closest full-service RV campgrounds to Brookfield sit along the Delaware River corridor and in the surrounding hills. Driftstone on the Delaware and Delaware River Family Campground are riverfront options on the Pennsylvania side, while Triple Brook Camping Resort and Hickory Lake Campground occupy inland sites in Warren County. Camp Taylor Campground is set on the Delaware Water Gap ridgeline near Columbia, New Jersey. Most campgrounds in the area cater to families and offer a mix of tent sites, water and electric RV sites, and cabins. Full sewer hookups are less common than water and electric, so RV renters should confirm hookup type at booking and plan dump-station stops accordingly.

Private campgrounds near Brookfield handle their own reservations. Driftstone on the Delaware takes bookings by telephone or in person only and does not offer online reservations. Triple Brook Camping Resort, Delaware River Family Campground, Hickory Lake Campground, and Camp Taylor Campground accept reservations by phone and, in most cases, through their own websites. Public sites are booked through a separate system. Worthington State Forest Campground, the closest public RV-friendly campground inside the Delaware Water Gap area, uses the New Jersey State Park Service reservation portal at camping.nj.gov rather than Recreation.gov. For summer weekends and holidays, booking eight to twelve weeks ahead is prudent. Deposits are typically non-refundable, and holiday weekends often carry minimum-stay requirements, so confirm cancellation and transfer rules before paying.
