Driftstone on the Delaware has a shorter season, from mid-May to mid-October.
Summer weekends see the heaviest demand. The Spruce Run campground fills quickly on summer weekends, and reservations are worth booking early, particularly for waterfront spots. Spring and fall bring cooler nights, lighter crowds, and strong fishing on the reservoirs and Delaware.

Absolutely amazing renter. The RV had everything we needed and they were very accommodating with our extension.

I accept the charges as followed. However I do not accept charge for 4 days. I only had the vehicle for 3 days. I'd like to dispute the 4th day charged for 250.00

Booking and how to reserve
New Jersey state parks use a single booking portal. All advanced camping reservations must be made online at camping.nj.gov, same-day reservations can be made online until 2:00 p.m., and walk-in reservations are accepted if space is available. Travelers should call the park office or check the campground's availability view tab online the morning of intended arrival to confirm campsite availability. This portal covers both Spruce Run State Recreational Area and Voorhees State Park.
Private campgrounds vary. Driftstone on the Delaware takes reservations over the telephone or in person and does not offer online reservations. Delaware River Family Campground and Triple Brook accept reservations directly through their operator websites. For peak-summer weekends and holidays, book several weeks ahead and note pet and alcohol rules before arriving with an RV rental.
What to expect at area campgrounds
Site styles vary widely. At Spruce Run, the RV campground sits on the edge of a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides, but only 7 sites have water and 30/50 amp electric hookups. Waterfront sites tend to lack hookups, while the hookup sites are set back from the water.
Voorhees accommodates RVs up to roughly 36 feet, and while dogs are permitted in the day areas of the park, the campground is not pet-friendly. Pets and alcoholic beverages are also prohibited in the Spruce Run campground.
Expect quiet hours, standard fire rings and picnic tables, and drive-in access at the private parks. RV renters should verify site length, hookup type, and low-clearance approaches before towing. The bridge across the Delaware between Belvidere, NJ and Riverton, PA has an 8-ton weight limit and is very narrow.
