Here’s the updated version with the host included: RV Trip Review We just got back from our trip and had a great experience with this RV. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and ran really well throughout the entire trip. It had plenty of space for the family and made traveling together easy and enjoyable. Everything worked as expected, and we felt comfortable and confident on the road. The host was also incredibly supportive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They made the whole rental experience smooth and stress-free. It was a great RV for a family trip(5 people), and we would definitely rent from this host again!

What to expect on the ground
Site types vary sharply between public and private options. The primitive Beaver Pond Campground has no hookups and is best suited to tent campers, but it can accommodate smaller RVs, trailers, and campervans up to 30 feet long. Comfort stations, showers, laundry facilities, and a dumping station are part of the campground, and only one vehicle is permitted at each campsite. Private parks in the area typically offer water, electric, and sewer hookups plus Wi-Fi.
Bring insect repellent for ticks and mosquitoes, and store food securely as black bears are active throughout the Hudson Highlands. Pets are not permitted in Beaver Pond Campground or Lake Welch, so travelers with dogs should confirm pet policies before booking.
Roads into the state parks are winding and can be narrow. Larger rigs should plan routes carefully and check length limits at each specific campground.
