Campgrounds and RV parks near Pine Valley, NY

Pine Valley sits in Chemung County in New York's Southern Tier, positioned between Elmira to the south and the Finger Lakes wine country to the north. The hamlet gives RV travelers a central base for reaching Seneca Lake, the Chemung River corridor, and the Corning Museum of Glass region without long drives between stops. Campground options within a short drive include private RV parks and two state park campgrounds. Ferenbaugh Camping and Recreation Area sits on over 300 open and wooded acres with a protected trout stream running through the campground and offers 115 private sites carved out of the wooded hillside plus 30 full hookup sites in a valley setting. Watkins Glen / Corning KOA Resort provides another full-service option between the two towns. For state-park camping, Watkins Glen State Park has 305 campsites with restrooms, showers, and dump stations, while Newtown Battlefield State Park and the nearby Gardner Hill Campground sit on the ridge above the Chemung Valley, closer to Elmira.
