Campgrounds and RV parks near Eddystone, PA

Eddystone is a small borough in Delaware County on the west bank of the Delaware River, immediately south of Philadelphia and adjacent to Chester. RV renters use it as a base for exploring Philadelphia, the Brandywine Valley, and the southern New Jersey shore corridor via the Commodore Barry Bridge. There are no campgrounds inside Eddystone itself. Most RV parks sit across the river in Gloucester and Salem counties, New Jersey, or west toward Chester County. Options within roughly an hour include Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday, Four Seasons Campgrounds, Old Cedar Campground, Lake Kandle, and Adventure Bound Tall Pines, which range from family resort parks with pools and splash areas to quieter wooded sites. Expect a mix of full-hookup pull-throughs, back-in sites with water and electric, and cabin rentals. Sites closer to Philadelphia fill quickly on summer weekends, so travelers heading in for city sightseeing should book several weeks ahead.

Private campgrounds near Eddystone take reservations directly through their own websites or through booking platforms such as Campspot, KOA.com, and Good Sam. Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday, Four Seasons Campgrounds, Old Cedar Campground, Lake Kandle, and Adventure Bound Tall Pines all accept online reservations, and most require a deposit at booking. Pennsylvania state parks use the state parks and forests reservation system, and New Jersey state parks use the NJ Outdoors reservation portal. Both open sites up to 11 months in advance and are the right tool for public-land camping, not the private resorts above. For summer weekends and holiday stays, book two to three months out. Shoulder-season midweek stays are usually available within a week of arrival.
