Options range from small owner-operated parks to full-service resort campgrounds and a large state park. Brandywine Creek Campground sits along the East Brandywine Creek near Downingtown and offers full-hookup RV sites in a wooded setting with a fishing pond and creekside spots. For a public-land experience, French Creek State Park in Elverson protects more than 7,700 acres of forest and lakes and is the largest contiguous forest block between Washington, D.C. and New York City. It offers electric, non-electric, full-hookup, and pet-friendly sites plus cabins, cottages, and yurts.

French Creek State Park uses the Pennsylvania State Parks reservation system operated through ReserveAmerica. Sites can be booked up to 11 months in advance and must be reserved at least three days ahead of arrival, with a 226-site inventory that includes cabins, yurts, cottages, and modern campsites. Peak summer weekends and holidays book out early, so setting a target date near the 11-month window is the safer approach. Philadelphia / West Chester KOA Holiday takes reservations directly through the KOA website or app, with KOA Rewards members eligible for a discount at checkout. Brandywine Creek Campground, Camp Country Center, and Village Scene Park are smaller private operations; direct phone or website booking is standard, and calling ahead is recommended for RV site availability.
