Campgrounds and RV parks near Narberth, PA

Narberth is a small borough on Philadelphia's Main Line in Montgomery County, about eight miles west of Center City. The borough itself sits in a dense residential area with no campgrounds inside its limits, so RV travelers base themselves at parks in the surrounding suburbs and across the Delaware River in southern New Jersey, then commute in for city sightseeing. Most RV-friendly options sit within a 20 to 40 minute drive. Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday is roughly a 30-minute drive from Philadelphia, across the river in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Village Scene Park and Oak Grove Park and Sales are additional nearby options, while Lake Kandle in Sewell and Old Cedar Campground sit slightly farther south in southern New Jersey. Because the region blends suburban roads, historic districts, and river crossings, travelers should confirm rig length limits and low-bridge routes before towing in. Sites geared to bigger rigs cluster on the New Jersey side, where the Clarksboro KOA offers big-rig pull-throughs with 50-amp service.

There are no state or federal campgrounds inside Narberth itself, so most reservations run through the private operators directly. Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday takes bookings through the KOA website and app, with site selection, big-rig access, and cabin options handled in one cart. Lake Kandle, Old Cedar Campground, Village Scene Park, and Oak Grove Park and Sales are booked directly by phone or through each park's own site. Expect minimum-stay rules on weekends and holidays. Lake Kandle requires a minimum stay of two nights, and three nights on holidays, and similar patterns apply across the region. Summer weekends and any date tied to a Philadelphia sports playoff or major convention should be locked in several weeks ahead.
