Campgrounds and RV parks near Newtown Grant, PA

Newtown Grant sits in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, within easy driving distance of the Delaware River corridor and a cluster of private RV parks on the Pennsylvania side of the river. The area suits RV renters who want a base for exploring historic Bucks County, Philadelphia day trips, and the wooded ridges of the Delaware Valley without long transit days between stops. Closest private options include Beaver Valley Campgrounds, Colonial Woods Family Resort, and Ringing Rocks Family Campground in upper Bucks County, along with Village Scene Park. Washington Crossing State Park in New Jersey lies just across the river, though its campground is limited to organized group tenting and has been closed to camping in recent seasons, so it is not a practical RV option. Most private parks in this corridor accept RVs of standard rental length and offer 30 and 50 amp service, dump stations, and family amenities. Confirm site dimensions, hookup type, and current operating dates directly with each park before booking.

Private parks including Beaver Valley Campgrounds, Colonial Woods Family Resort, Ringing Rocks Family Campground, and Village Scene Park take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Many require a deposit at booking and enforce minimum-night stays on holiday weekends, so popular summer dates should be secured well in advance. Washington Crossing State Park in New Jersey handles reservations through the state camping portal at camping.nj.gov when the campground is open, but overnight camping there is limited to organized group tent sites and has been closed in recent seasons. It is not set up for RVs, and the Washington Crossing Bridge itself carries a three-ton limit that excludes campers, so approach from PA via the Route 202 or I-295 bridges. When booking for an RV rental, confirm site length, hookup type, and any restrictions on slide-outs or awnings.
