Campgrounds and RV parks near Reiffton, PA

Reiffton sits just east of Reading in Berks County, Pennsylvania, putting RV travelers within a short drive of both state-park camping and full-service private resorts. The largest public option nearby is French Creek State Park, a 7,730-acre forested park that straddles Berks and Chester counties and is reached from PA 345 south of Birdsboro or the Morgantown exits of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The park campground has close to 200 wooded tent and trailer sites arranged in four loops, with a mix of non-electric, electric, and full-hookup sites, plus modern cabins, camping cottages, and yurts. Loop C offers the full-hookup sites and is the only loop that stays open year-round. Modern restrooms with warm showers, a dump station, and a playground are on site. For resort-style stays, Sun Retreats Lancaster County (formerly Lake in Wood) sits in Narvon and offers RV sites up to 45 feet with paved or gravel pads and 30/50-amp full hookups. Sun Outdoors Lancaster County, Adventure Bound Oak Creek, and Sun Valley RV Campground round out the private options in the surrounding Berks and Lancaster County area.

Pennsylvania state park sites at French Creek are booked through the Pennsylvania State Parks reservation website or by calling 888-PA-PARKS. Reservations open 11 months in advance at noon Eastern Time and must be made at least three days before arrival. Some sites may be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and cancellations release inventory throughout the season. A 14-night maximum stay applies from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and 21 nights the rest of the year. Private resorts including Sun Retreats Lancaster County, Sun Outdoors Lancaster County, Adventure Bound Oak Creek, and Sun Valley RV Campground take reservations directly through their own websites or through third-party platforms such as Campspot. For summer weekends and themed event weekends, book several months ahead and confirm the maximum RV length the site will accept.
