Campgrounds and RV parks near Village Green-Green Ridge, PA

Village Green-Green Ridge is a census-designated place in Aston Township, southern Delaware County, Pennsylvania, roughly 25 miles from downtown Philadelphia. The area is suburban rather than rural, so RV travelers typically base themselves at commercial campgrounds a short drive away in northern Delaware, Chester County, or across the Delaware River in New Jersey, then day-trip into Philadelphia, the Brandywine Valley, and Longwood Gardens. Camp Country Center in Hockessin, Delaware, sits closest to Village Green-Green Ridge and offers a compact base near the Pennsylvania and Delaware line. Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday, just across the river in Gloucester County, New Jersey, is open year-round and provides the nearest big-rig KOA on the south side, with easy highway access to Center City. Philadelphia / West Chester KOA Holiday sits along the Brandywine River near Coatesville and runs seasonally from spring through late fall, welcoming rigs up to 90 feet. Old Cedar Campground in Monroeville, New Jersey, adds a larger family-oriented South Jersey option, and Four Seasons Campgrounds in the Poconos is a longer drive north for guests combining a city visit with mountain camping. Ridley Creek State Park lies within the county but does not offer general RV camping, so plan on the private parks above for hookups.

The two KOA properties, Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday and Philadelphia / West Chester KOA Holiday, take reservations directly through the KOA site and app. Both accept large rigs and offer full hookups, and holiday weekends usually carry stricter deposit and cancellation terms, so read the confirmation carefully. Old Cedar Campground, Four Seasons Campgrounds, and Camp Country Center are independent operators; reserve by phone or through each campground's own website. For state land, Pennsylvania state parks use the ReserveAmerica-based Pennsylvania State Parks and Forests Reservations system, and sites can be booked up to 11 months in advance with a three-day minimum lead time. Ridley Creek State Park itself only offers organized-group camping.
