This is our first time camping with the Travel Trailer. It was great. We love it, it’s clean and has everything we need. Mirna is so kind and nice answer all my questions before and after I booked the RV. We will definitely rent it again if we camp close by. My family and I had great time with the RV.

Oscar made this whole experience so easy. We booked the trailer as holiday accomodations for my husband, me, and our dog in the driveway of my parent's (tiny!) house. Oscar set the trailer up before our arrival and picked it up after we left. The trailer itself is terrific, with a cozy double bed and two bunks. My nieces loved to hang out in the trailer and watch DVDs while Grandpa watched his football in the house, and it was great to be able to shower in the trailer instead of waiting for 8 others to finish showering in the main house! It was stormy and windy during our trip, but we were very cozy in the trailer. We'll definitely book again in the future, and my nieces want to "sleep over" in the trailer too next time!

Ron and Rei6 trips - Joined Apr 2024

We rented Ron and Rei's van for a long trip (43 nights) and really enjoyed the experience. The van was easy to drive as it is fairly compact (which also allowed us to camp in national parks where there was a length restriction) and has a rear camera. Two excellent features are the pop top and solar panels. The pop top is really comfortable for two, and super quick to put up. Solar meant we never needed to plug the van in as we always had battery (you have USB, lights, fridge etc but no mains power). Rei gave us an extremely helpful run through at the beginning of the rental. We also rented a cot from them for our 9 month old, which lay flat on the bed downstairs and worked really well. Communication was great throughout the trip, which helped us sort the few issues that occurred. We'd highly recommend.

How is city driving in Torrance? Are there any RV-specific hazards?

Driving an RV in Torrance is manageable, especially outside of rush hour on the 405 and 110 freeways. Surface streets are generally wide, but watch for posted low-clearance heights near older rail and freeway underpasses. Many renters choose RV delivery to the campground to skip city traffic entirely. Avoid parking on residential streets in beach cities like Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach, where oversized vehicle rules apply, and use designated lots instead. Early morning drives help you avoid traffic.
