2021 Thor Motor Coach Class C
The owners of the RV were kind and honest people. They were generous enough to be super flexible with the pickup and drop off times which was extremely helpful (i'm sure they cant do this for EVERYBODY, but they did for me). The RV was clean and everything worked well! Overall a great experience, we would definitely rent from them again in the future.

Perfect little unit for road trips and camping! The van was comfortable and reliable. The van is well equipped woth utensils, dishes and tools, just load up the fridge and go anywhere! The solar powered battery was always charged and had plenty of power. Our host was welcoming and very helpful, everything worked as expected with zero issues. AC blows cold and the fridge works great! Thanks Kailen! We would camp with your van again in a heartbeat!

2020 Coleman Travel Trailer
Justin was a great host. He took the time to walk me through setup of the camper so I was comfortable with the operation during towing as well as the power accessories, lighting, refrigerator/freezer, speakers and bathroom. Justin also had the camper fully stocked with clean bedding, kitchen tools, toilet paper and even some games. We will definitely reserve with Justin in the future.

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Edgewater, CO
How much does it cost to rent an RV in Edgewater, CO?
RV rental in Edgewater is one of the most affordable ways to explore the Front Range. On RVezy, you typically find travel trailers from around $90 to $150 per night, Class C motorhomes between $175 and $275 per night, and larger Class A coaches from $300 and up. Because Edgewater sits next to Sloan's Lake and only about 10 minutes from downtown Denver, demand spikes from June through August and on Broncos and Rockies game weekends. To score a cheap RV rental in Edgewater, book midweek, target the May or September shoulder season, and use the price filter on RVezy. Many hosts also offer weekly discounts of 10 to 20 percent once you stay four nights or more.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Edgewater%2C%20ColoradoWhat license do I need to rent an RV in Edgewater, Colorado?
Good news for first time renters: a regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Edgewater. There is no special RV endorsement or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required for motorhomes under 26,000 pounds. You also need to be at least 25 years old, which is the approved driver age on RVezy. Visiting from outside the United States? Bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) from your home country's auto association along with your home license. RVezy verifies your ID during booking, so the process is quick and you can focus on planning your Colorado adventure.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039008774-Understanding-approved-driver-requirementsIs RV rental insurance and roadside assistance included in Edgewater?
Yes, you can book with confidence. Every RV rental in Edgewater booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan and 24/7 roadside assistance, so you are covered from the moment you pick up the keys. The protection plan covers most damage to the vehicle, giving you real financial peace of mind. During checkout you choose your level of coverage, not the host, so you can pick what fits your comfort level and budget. If you get a flat near Sloan's Lake or need a tow on I-70 heading into the mountains, one call gets help dispatched. Review the protection options on the booking page so you head into your Colorado trip stress free.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat happens if I need to cancel my Edgewater RV rental?
Booking is low risk. RVezy sets the cancellation policy for every rental, not individual hosts, so you get a consistent and fair experience. There is a grace period right after booking that lets you cancel for a full refund, and additional protections apply for qualifying circumstances. Refund amounts depend on how far out you cancel before your trip start date, and the policy is not displayed in the listing itself. Book early to lock in the best Edgewater RV for summer weekends, and use the grace period if your plans change. If a host has to cancel, RVezy refunds you or offers credits, and support is available before, during, and after your trip.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I find a pet friendly RV rental in Edgewater?
Absolutely, your dog is invited. Plenty of hosts offer pet friendly RV rental in Edgewater, and you can find them in seconds by toggling the Pet Friendly filter on RVezy. Edgewater is a very dog friendly community in the Denver metro, so your pup will fit right in. Take them to the off leash dog park at Sloan's Lake, grab a patio table at Edgewater Public Market, or walk the loop around the lake together. Nearby campgrounds like Chatfield State Park and Bear Creek Lake Park also welcome leashed pets. Message the host before booking to confirm pet fees, which usually range from $25 to $75 per stay, and to share your dog's size and breed.
cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/ChatfieldStateParkCan the RV be delivered to me in Edgewater?
Yes, and RV delivery in Edgewater is a great option for first time renters. Many RVezy hosts will drive the motorhome or travel trailer directly to your campground, driveway, or staging spot, then level it, hook up utilities, and walk you through every system before they leave. That means you never have to tow or maneuver an unfamiliar rig through Denver metro traffic. Popular delivery destinations from Edgewater include Chatfield State Park (about 20 minutes south), Bear Creek Lake Park (about 15 minutes southwest), and Golden Gate Canyon State Park (about 40 minutes west). Use the Delivery filter on RVezy to see hosts who offer it. Delivery fees are typically calculated per mile, so closer campgrounds keep your costs down.
cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/GoldenGateCanyonHow far can I drive on a typical Edgewater RV rental and is unlimited mileage available?
You have plenty of range to explore Colorado. Most Edgewater RV hosts include 100 to 150 free miles per night, which easily covers a weekend at Rocky Mountain National Park or a loop through the Front Range. Some hosts offer RV rental with unlimited mileage, which is perfect if you are planning a longer Colorado road trip from Edgewater out to Mesa Verde or the Western Slope. Additional miles, when applicable, usually run $0.30 to $0.50 each. Popular drives from Edgewater include Estes Park (about 75 miles), Glenwood Springs (about 160 miles), Great Sand Dunes National Park (about 235 miles), and Moab, Utah (about 355 miles). Filter by Unlimited Mileage on RVezy and message the host with your planned route so they can recommend the best package.
nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/directions.htmWhere can I park or camp my RV near Edgewater?
You have excellent options within 30 minutes of Edgewater. Chatfield State Park in Littleton offers nearly 200 sites with electric and full hookups for a range of RV sizes, right on a reservoir with swim beaches. Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood has RV sites about 15 minutes from Edgewater, perfect for a quick getaway. Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora offers modern sites with hookups. For mountain scenery, Golden Gate Canyon State Park sits about 40 minutes west with RV friendly sites. Within Edgewater itself, on street overnight RV parking is restricted, so plan to stay at a campground or in a private driveway. State park sites book up months ahead for summer weekends, so reserve early through Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parksWhen is the best time to take an RV trip from Edgewater?
Edgewater has a longer RV season than most people expect. Late April through mid October is prime, with daytime highs typically in the 60 to 90 F range and low humidity. June through August brings warm days perfect for Sloan's Lake and the mountains, with afternoon thunderstorms that usually pass within an hour. September and early October are the sweet spot: cooler nights, golden aspens along the Peak to Peak Highway, smaller crowds, and lower nightly rates. Even winter RV camping near Edgewater is possible thanks to mild Front Range temperatures and many heated, four season rentals on RVezy. Aim for the last two weeks of September to catch peak aspen color on a day trip from Edgewater up to Kenosha Pass.
weather.gov/bou/I have never driven an RV before. Will I be okay in Edgewater?
You will do great, and you are not alone: first time renting an RV is the most common scenario on RVezy. Every host in Edgewater provides a full walkthrough at pickup, covering the generator, slide outs, propane, water systems, and dash controls. They answer questions and many share a video reference for the road. Edgewater itself sits on flat, grid style streets near Sloan's Lake, making it an easy place to get comfortable before heading west into the foothills. If you would rather skip city driving altogether, choose RV delivery. Take 20 minutes after the walkthrough to practice turning and backing up in a quiet lot near the Edgewater Civic Center before hitting the road.
codot.gov/safetyWhat if something goes wrong with the RV during my trip?
You will not be stranded. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the protection plan, so help is one phone call away whether you are parked at Sloan's Lake or driving over Loveland Pass. Roadside covers things like flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts, and towing. For questions about how the RV works, message your host directly through the RVezy app; they know their rig better than anyone and most respond within minutes. The RVezy support team is also available before, during, and after your trip. Snap photos of every system during the pickup walkthrough so you have a quick reference if you forget how to switch the water heater from electric to propane.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my Edgewater RV rental across state lines or into Canada?
Yes, most RV rentals from Edgewater are great for multi state road trips. Many hosts allow travel throughout the lower 48, opening up classic routes like Edgewater to Moab, Utah (about 5.5 hours), Yellowstone via Jackson, Wyoming (about 8 to 9 hours), and the Black Hills of South Dakota (about 6 hours). Some hosts also allow travel into Canada, but you need to confirm this before booking since insurance and protection coverage must remain valid. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals because coverage does not extend across that border. Message the host directly from the listing page to share your planned route, and they will confirm exactly what is allowed so your RV road trip from Edgewater goes smoothly.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityWhat kind of fuel economy and gas budget should I expect for an Edgewater RV trip?
Budgeting is easier than you might think. Class B campervans typically get 18 to 22 mpg, Class C motorhomes around 8 to 12 mpg, and large Class A coaches 6 to 10 mpg. Travel trailers depend on your tow vehicle but usually cut your mpg by 30 to 40 percent. Regular gas in the Denver metro area generally runs in the $3 to $4 per gallon range, with diesel slightly higher. A weekend trip from Edgewater up to Estes Park and back (about 150 miles round trip) costs roughly $50 to $80 in fuel for a Class C. Fill up at warehouse club or grocery fuel stations in Lakewood or along Sheridan Boulevard before heading into the mountains, where prices can jump 30 to 50 cents per gallon.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground for my Edgewater RV trip?
Earlier is better, especially for summer. Colorado Parks and Wildlife opens reservations up to six months in advance, and popular Front Range campgrounds like Chatfield, Cherry Creek, and Bear Creek Lake Park fill up quickly for July and August weekends. For Rocky Mountain National Park area sites, Recreation.gov also opens about six months out and books fast. For shoulder season trips in May or late September, two to four weeks ahead is usually plenty. If you miss out on a Saturday night, book Sunday through Thursday instead, since Front Range campgrounds near Edgewater are often quieter midweek and host nightly rates can be lower too. Use Colorado Parks and Wildlife's online reservation system to set up alerts for cancellations.
cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/Reservations.aspxWhat are driving conditions like in and around Edgewater?
Edgewater itself is easy to drive: flat, grid streets and a small footprint right next to Sloan's Lake. The challenge is the surrounding Denver metro and the mountains beyond. I-70 west into the Rockies climbs steeply over Floyd Hill, Genesee, and through the Eisenhower Tunnel at about 11,158 feet, so descend in a low gear and watch your engine temperature. Summer afternoon thunderstorms can bring brief downpours and hail, so plan mountain drives for mornings. Avoid downtown Denver at rush hour and watch for low railroad bridges on routes like Speer Boulevard if you are in a taller rig. Use CDOT's COtrip app for live road conditions, chain laws, and closures. It is a lifesaver for any RV road trip from Edgewater into the high country.
codot.gov/travel/colorado-mountain-passesWhat amenities do campgrounds near Edgewater offer, and where can I dump tanks or fill water?
You will find well equipped campgrounds within a short drive. Chatfield State Park, Cherry Creek State Park, and Bear Creek Lake Park all offer electric and full hookup sites, potable water fill stations, dump stations, flush toilets, and hot showers. Most sites also have picnic tables, fire rings, and food storage guidance for wildlife. For dump stations alone, Chatfield and Cherry Creek both offer day use dumping for a small fee. Many private parks like Dakota Ridge RV Park in Golden offer full hookups including 50 amp and Wi-Fi. Top off your fresh water tank before leaving Edgewater since some mountain campgrounds have seasonal water shutoffs after mid October. Confirm hookup type when booking RV camping in the Edgewater area.
cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/CherryCreekWhat features and amenities come with a typical motorhome rental in Edgewater?
You will be impressed by how well equipped RVs are. A typical motorhome rental in Edgewater includes a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink; a bathroom with toilet and shower; sleeping for 4 to 8 people; roof air conditioning; a furnace; and propane or an onboard generator for off grid power. Most include seatbelts for every traveling passenger, which is required by Colorado law. Many hosts also provide TVs, Bluetooth stereos, outdoor speakers, awnings, and cellular Wi-Fi or Starlink for an add-on fee. Linens, kitchenware, and camp chairs are commonly offered as kits. Read each listing's amenities list carefully and message the host if you want specific items like a coffee maker or a portable fire pit for your Colorado stay.
codot.gov/safety/seatbelts-carseatsWhat add-ons and pickup options should I know about for renting in Edgewater?
Hosts make it easy to customize your trip. Popular add-ons for an RV rental in Edgewater include linen and kitchen kits ($25 to $75), generator hours, bike racks, camp chairs and tables, portable Wi-Fi, propane refills, and outdoor grills. Pickup is usually at the host's home in Edgewater or a nearby Denver metro neighborhood like Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, or Sloan's Lake. Mileage policies vary by host, with most including 100 to 150 miles per night and some offering unlimited. Generator usage is often capped at a few free hours per day. Ask about a one way drop off if you are planning a campervan rental from Edgewater to Grand Junction; some hosts will accommodate it for an additional fee. Confirm pickup time and parking arrangements 24 hours before your trip.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Edgewater%2C%20ColoradoHow does payment and the security deposit work for an Edgewater RV rental?
Payment is straightforward and secure. When you book on RVezy, you pay the full rental amount through the platform using a credit or debit card; cash payments outside the platform are never required. A refundable security deposit is held by RVezy, separate from your booking payment, typically ranging from $500 to $1,500 depending on the RV's value. As long as the rig is returned in the same condition, the deposit is released back to your card within a few days after drop off. Take time stamped photos and a short video walkaround at pickup and at return so you have a clear record. This simple step prevents nearly every deposit dispute and keeps your Edgewater RV rental experience smooth from start to finish.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksIs winter RV camping near Edgewater possible?
Yes, and it can be magical. Edgewater's relatively mild winters, with typical January highs in the mid 40s F, mean four season RV rentals stay comfortable when properly prepped. Many RVezy hosts in the Denver area offer rigs with heated holding tanks, enclosed underbellies, and high BTU furnaces designed for cold weather use. Cherry Creek State Park and Chatfield State Park both keep loops open year round with electric hookups so you can run a space heater on shore power and conserve propane. Ski trips to Loveland or Winter Park become a breeze when you can park, plug in, and sleep nearby. Ask your host to demonstrate how to winterize and de-winterize tanks at pickup, and carry an extra propane tank for any RV road trip from Edgewater into the high country.
