Very simple to book, reserve, communicate, meet-up, operate, return, etc. I would recommend to all! Perfect size RV and amenities for what I was looking for. Family of five. We had everything we needed, with nothing too fancy that may be difficult to operate or take away from the camping experience.

Wonderful across the board. The RV was clean, drove perfectly (mountains of Colorado and New Mexico), and was impeccably organized. They have clearly thought through all the things that might be needed on a long trip and made them easily accessible. The toilet cassette was easy to empty (particularly in a latrine -- 3-5 minutes with no mess). The refrigerator and cabinets have plenty of space and beds were comfortable. It was easy to stop and sleep overnight in parks. We were really pleased and would happily rent this RV again.

What license do I need to rent an RV in Libertyville?

Good news: for nearly every RV you'll rent in Libertyville, a regular driver's license is all you need, no Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or special endorsement required. You'll need to be 25 or older with a valid license, and RVezy will verify your ID right inside the platform during booking. Illinois ties license classifications to weight for vehicles over 16,000 pounds GVWR, but most travel trailers, campervans, and Class C motorhomes on the platform fall well under that threshold. Visiting from abroad? Bring an International Driving Permit alongside your home license. Then it's just keys, coffee, and the open road toward Lake Michigan.

Winter brings snow and ice from December to March; summer thunderstorms can be sudden. Pro tip: cross the Wisconsin border before noon on Fridays to dodge weekend cottage traffic.
