2014 Pleasure-Way Class B
Fantastic experience renting from Scott! I rented a Pleasure-Way Class B RV from Scott and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The RV itself was in excellent condition and very well equipped, and Scott even offered helpful extras like chairs and a table to round out the setup. Before I hit the road, Scott spent over an hour walking me through all the systems, so I felt completely confident using everything. When questions came up during the trip, he responded quickly every time. Between the great RV and Scott’s outstanding communication, this was a five-star rental from start to finish. I’d rent from him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, well-equipped RV and a host who genuinely cares about your trip going smoothly.

2023 Thor Motor Coach Class B
I recently had the pleasure of staying in Lien's camper van for a music festival in Vermont, and I can't emphasize enough how perfectly it met my needs. My four essential requirements for the stay— a clean environment, a comfortable bed, a bathroom, and quality coffee—were not only satisfied but exceeded in every aspect, transforming my experience into one of sheer comfort and enjoyment. In fact, I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ve already booked for next year's festivities! Lien proved to be an exceptional host, embodying warmth and hospitality throughout my stay. She communicated effectively and was always available to address any questions I had, ensuring I felt welcome and well-informed. Her clear instructions prior to my arrival made the check-in process seamless, and she generously took the time to provide a thorough tutorial on the van's systems, which truly enhanced my experience. Furthermore, Lien went above and beyond by supplying plenty of pillows, blankets, and fresh spring water, which added thoughtful touches to my stay. Her attention to detail made all the difference, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the festival atmosphere without any worries. I wholeheartedly recommend her camper van as the perfect 'home away from home' for solo travelers or couples alike. If you're looking for a convenient, comfortable, and fun place to stay, look no further! You won't be disappointed!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Glens Falls, NY
How much does it cost to rent an RV in Glens Falls, NY?
An RV rental in Glens Falls is one of the more affordable ways to experience the southern Adirondacks. On RVezy, travel trailers typically start around $90 to $150 per night, campervans and Class C motorhomes generally run $175 to $275 per night, and larger Class A motorhomes can range from $250 to $400 per night, depending on age and amenities. Booking shoulder-season weeks in late May, early June, or mid-September can shave 20 to 30 percent off peak Lake George summer pricing. For a cheap RV rental in Glens Falls, filter by travel trailers, look for hosts with unlimited mileage, and consider weekday pickups. Pro tip: bundling delivery to your campground often beats the cost of fuel for a round-trip pickup.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Glens%20Falls%2C%20New%20YorkDo I need a special license to rent an RV in Glens Falls?
Great news for first-time renters: your regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Glens Falls for virtually every rig on the RVezy platform. New York allows a standard Class D operator license to cover any vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,000 pounds or less, which includes campervans, Class C motorhomes, travel trailers, and most Class A motorhomes you'll find on the marketplace. You'll need to be 25 or older, and RVezy verifies your ID right inside the booking flow. Visiting from abroad? Bring your home country license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP) and you're set. No CDL, no special endorsement, no stress.
dmv.ny.gov/driver-license/get-driver-licenseWhat protection comes with my RV rental in Glens Falls?
You are covered from the moment you book. Every RV rental in Glens Falls, NY booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan plus 24/7 roadside assistance, so you are never alone on the road. The protection plan covers most physical damage to the RV during your trip, and you choose your level of coverage during checkout, not the host. It provides meaningful financial peace of mind whether you are parked at Lake George RV Park or driving up the Northway (Interstate 87). Pro tip: pick a higher-tier protection plan if it is your first RV trip, the lower deductible is worth the confidence on winding Adirondack roads.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailWhat if I need to cancel my Glens Falls RV trip?
Booking is low-risk: RVezy applies a clear, renter-friendly cancellation policy on every reservation, including a money-back grace period right after you book so you can lock in your dates with confidence. Refund amounts after that depend on how far out your trip is and the circumstances. Because RVezy, not individual hosts, controls the cancellation policy, you get consistent treatment whether you are renting a campervan for a Saratoga Race Course weekend or a fifth wheel for a week at Schroon Lake. If a host cancels, RVezy refunds you or provides credits so your trip plans stay protected. Pro tip: book early for fall foliage in late September to lock in your spot.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsCan I bring my dog on a Glens Falls RV rental?
Yes, a pet-friendly RV rental in Glens Falls is easy to find on RVezy. Toggle the Pet-Friendly filter on the search page and you will see rigs where dogs are welcome (sometimes with a small cleaning fee). Once you are here, your dog will love it: Moreau Lake State Park has leashed-dog-friendly trails just south of downtown, the Feeder Canal Trail runs right through Glens Falls, and most DEC and state campgrounds in the Adirondacks allow pets with proof of a current rabies vaccination. Pro tip: pack a copy of your dog's rabies certificate, New York State campgrounds will ask for it at check-in.
parks.ny.gov/recreation/pets/Can the RV be delivered to my campground near Glens Falls?
Yes, RV delivery in Glens Falls is one of the most popular options on RVezy, and it is a great choice if you are new to RVing. Many local hosts will drop the RV at campgrounds like Lake George RV Park, Ledgeview RV Park, King Phillip's Campground, or Moreau Lake State Park, level it, hook it up to water and power, and walk you through every system before they leave. That means no towing, no backing into a tight wooded site, and no figuring out the awning on your own. Message the host before booking to confirm your destination and delivery fee. Pro tip: delivery to Lake George Village area campgrounds is especially worth it during the busy July and August season.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Glens%20Falls%2C%20New%20YorkHow many miles can I drive on a Glens Falls RV rental?
Plenty of road awaits. Most hosts on RVezy offer 100 to 150 free miles per night, and many list RV rentals with unlimited mileage, which is ideal for a Glens Falls RV trip that loops through the Adirondacks. To give you a sense of distance: Lake George Village is about 10 miles north, Saratoga Springs is about 18 miles south, Lake Placid is about 110 miles north, Montreal is about 200 miles north, and New York City is about 200 miles south. Extra miles typically cost 25 to 45 cents each if you go over. Pro tip: filter for unlimited mileage if you are planning a multi-stop Adirondack loop or heading into Vermont's Green Mountains.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Glens%20Falls%2C%20New%20YorkWhere are the best campgrounds near Glens Falls for an RV?
You are spoiled for choice. Lake George RV Park (about 10 minutes north) is a large, family-friendly resort with full hookups, pools, and a trolley to Lake George Village. Ledgeview RV Park sits near Glen Lake with shaded sites and Wi-Fi. King Phillip's Campground connects to the paved Warren County Bikeway running between Glens Falls and Lake George. Moreau Lake State Park, just south on the Hudson River, offers a more rustic feel with a sandy beach and electric sites that fit many rigs. Adirondack Gateway RV Resort in Gansevoort is another solid option nearby. Pro tip: book New York State Parks campgrounds up to 9 months ahead through ReserveAmerica for summer weekends.
parks.ny.gov/parks/moreaulakeWhen is the best time of year for an RV trip from Glens Falls?
The sweet spot runs from mid-May through mid-October. July is the warmest month with average highs near 80F and lows near 58F, perfect for Lake George swimming and Saratoga Race Course season. Late September into early October is the showstopper: the southern Adirondacks hit peak fall foliage with crisp days in the 60s and brilliant orange and red hillsides. May and early June are quieter and more affordable, with spring waterfalls roaring through downtown Glens Falls itself. Winter rentals are limited because most area campgrounds close after Columbus Day weekend. Pro tip: book foliage weekends 6 to 9 months in advance, they are the most popular trips of the year.
weather.gov/aly/I have never rented an RV before. Will I be okay?
Yes, and you are going to love it. First time renting an RV is easier than people expect, especially in Glens Falls where many hosts offer beginner-friendly Class C motorhomes and travel trailers. At pickup, your host gives you a full walkthrough: how to run the generator, level the rig, hook up to shore power, dump tanks, deploy the awning, and use the propane. They are also a text message away during your trip. You can message any host on RVezy before booking with questions, and RVezy support is available 24/7. Pro tip: schedule pickup on a weekday afternoon, drive straight to a nearby campground like Moreau Lake State Park, and practice setup before tackling a bigger trip.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/categories/360002180693-RentersWhat happens if the RV breaks down during my trip?
You are never on your own. Every RVezy booking includes 24/7 roadside assistance, so a flat tire on Interstate 87, a dead battery at Lake George Battleground Campground, or an issue with the slide-out is resolved with one phone call. The roadside team can dispatch tire service, jump-starts, fuel delivery, lockout help, or towing to the nearest service center. Your host is also a second line of support, they know their rig and can often troubleshoot a quirk over text in a few minutes. RVezy customer support is reachable around the clock if anything more complicated comes up. Pro tip: save the roadside number to your phone before pickup so it is ready if you ever need it.
rvezy.com/insurance-and-protectionCan I take a Glens Falls RV rental into Vermont or Canada?
Yes to Vermont, and often yes to Canada with a quick host conversation. Interstate travel is straightforward: a popular RV road trip from Glens Falls heads east on Route 4 into Vermont (Killington is about 75 miles, Burlington about 140 miles), or north up Interstate 87 to the Adirondack High Peaks. Cross-border travel into Canada is allowed by many RVezy hosts since insurance can extend north, but you must confirm with your host before booking and bring your passport. Travel into Mexico is not permitted on RVezy rentals. Pro tip: Montreal sits about 200 miles north of Glens Falls and makes a great 4-day add-on if your host gives the green light.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityWhat kind of fuel mileage should I expect, and what will gas cost?
Realistic numbers help you budget. Class B campervans average 18 to 22 miles per gallon (MPG), Class C motorhomes typically run 8 to 12 MPG, Class A gas motorhomes get 6 to 10 MPG, and a truck or SUV towing a travel trailer usually returns 10 to 14 MPG. New York gas prices tend to run slightly above the national average in the Glens Falls area, with cheaper fill-ups just over the Vermont border. For a typical 4-day Lake George loop covering 300 miles in a Class C, plan on roughly $90 to $130 in fuel at current prices. Pro tip: fill up in Queensbury before heading deep into the Adirondacks where stations get sparser.
eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/How far in advance should I book a campground near Glens Falls?
Book early and you will thank yourself later. New York State Parks and DEC campgrounds (including Moreau Lake State Park and the Lake George Islands) open reservations 9 months in advance through ReserveAmerica, and prime summer weekends at Lake George Battleground or Hearthstone Point fill up quickly after release. Private parks like Lake George RV Park and Adirondack Gateway also sell out for July, August, and fall foliage weekends. For a mid-week summer trip, 2 to 3 months ahead is usually fine. Pro tip: have your dates ready to click the moment the booking window opens for popular weekends.
newyorkstateparks.reserveamerica.com/What's it like driving an RV around Glens Falls?
Easier than you'd think. Glens Falls is a small, walkable city of about 14,000 people sitting right where the Adirondacks meet the Hudson River, so traffic is light compared to anywhere downstate. Interstate 87 (the Northway) runs along the west side of town and offers smooth, scenic driving up to Lake George, Lake Placid, and the Canadian border. Watch for two things: low-clearance bridges on older side streets in downtown Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs (stick to main roads with an RV), and winding mountain grades on Route 9N around Lake George. Pro tip: avoid driving Route 9 through Lake George Village on summer Saturday afternoons, take Interstate 87 to a later exit instead.
dot.ny.gov/regional-offices/region1What amenities will I find at campgrounds around Glens Falls?
Most local campgrounds are well-equipped for RV camping in Glens Falls. Private parks like Lake George RV Park, Ledgeview, and King Phillip's offer full hookups (30 and 50 amp electric, water, sewer), Wi-Fi, laundry, pools, and camp stores. State park and DEC campgrounds like Moreau Lake State Park and Lake George Battleground tend to be more rustic with electric and water at select sites, central dump stations, hot showers, and clean restrooms. Dump stations are available at most campgrounds at checkout, and potable water fill-ups are standard. Pro tip: if your site does not include sewer, ask about using the campground dump station on the way out, it is an easy ten-minute stop.
dec.ny.gov/things-to-do/campingWhat is actually inside the RVs I can rent in Glens Falls?
More than you might expect. A typical motorhome rental in Glens Falls includes a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, sink), a bathroom with shower and toilet, sleeping for 4 to 8 people, climate control with both furnace and air conditioning, and seatbelts for everyone riding. Most include a TV and many offer Wi-Fi hotspots or solar packages. Larger Class A and Class C rigs often add a generator for off-grid power, outdoor speakers, and a power awning. Campervans are cozier but include the essentials for two travelers. Hosts list every feature right on the listing page. Pro tip: filter by the specific amenities you need, like a generator or solar, so you only see rigs that match your trip style.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Glens%20Falls%2C%20New%20YorkWhat add-ons can I get with my RV rental, and how does pickup work?
Hosts make it easy to customize your trip. Popular RVezy add-ons in Glens Falls include linen and towel packages, kitchen kits with pots and dishes, camping chairs and outdoor rugs, bike racks, generators, and propane top-ups. Delivery and setup is the most popular add-on locally, with fees usually based on distance. Pickup typically happens at the host's home in the Queensbury, Glens Falls, or Hudson Falls area, with a thorough walkthrough included. Mileage policies range from around 100 free miles per night up to unlimited. Pro tip: ask about a generator add-on if you are heading to a DEC campground without electric hookups.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Glens%20Falls%2C%20New%20YorkHow do payment and the security deposit work on RVezy?
It is all handled securely through the platform. When you book your campervan rental in Glens Falls, you pay the rental total, taxes, and any add-ons through RVezy's secure checkout, with no cash changing hands with the host. A refundable security deposit is pre-authorized on your card before pickup and released after the host confirms the rig came back in good shape. Choosing a higher protection plan at checkout can reduce the deposit hold. Pro tip: do a thorough walk-around with your host at pickup and dropoff, snap photos of any existing scratches, and you will breeze through the deposit release.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038106214-How-the-security-deposit-worksCan I rent an RV in Glens Falls in the winter?
You can, and a winter Adirondack RV trip is genuinely magical with some planning. Winters here are cold, with January highs near 28F and lows in the low teens, and the area sees significant snowfall each year. Most public campgrounds close after Columbus Day weekend, but a handful of private parks and snowmobile-friendly spots stay open with plowed sites and shore power. Look on RVezy for four-season RVs with heated holding tanks, enclosed underbellies, and good insulation, and plan to stay on shore power so your furnace can run without draining the battery. Pro tip: Gore Mountain ski area is about 50 miles northwest of Glens Falls and makes a fantastic winter RV base camp.
