Camanche North Shore sits on the north side of Camanche Reservoir in California's Sierra Nevada foothills, straddling Amador and Calaveras counties between Sacramento and the Gold Country wine region. The reservoir is operated by East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), which manages camping, day use, and water access through its concessionaire, Camanche Recreation Company.
