Campgrounds and RV parks near Kenmar, PA

Kenmar is a census-designated place in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, bordered by Loyalsock Creek to the east and the West Branch Susquehanna River corridor to the south, roughly three miles from downtown Williamsport. The location puts RV travelers within easy reach of the river valley, the Endless Mountains to the north, and the ridge-and-valley country south of Interstate 180. Most campgrounds serving the area sit along the Susquehanna corridor or up in the mountains toward Sullivan County. Riverside Campground and Sheshequin Camp Ground are river-oriented options, while Williamsport South/Nittany Mountain KOA Holiday works well as a full-hookup base for exploring the region. Hidden Valley Camping Resort and Hidden Valley RV Park round out the private-park choices for longer stays. Williamsport itself supplies groceries, fuel, propane, RV parts, and urgent care, so trips from Kenmar rarely require long resupply runs. Interstate 180 and US 220 provide direct access south to Interstate 80 and north into the Loyalsock and Tiadaghton state forests.

Pennsylvania state park and state forest sites, including Worlds End, are booked through the Pennsylvania State Parks and Forests reservation system on ReserveAmerica or by calling 888-PA-PARKS. Most campsites in Pennsylvania state parks can be reserved 11 months in advance to noon of the day of arrival, and unreserved sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations open at noon Eastern time, which is worth knowing when chasing summer weekends. Private parks near Kenmar, including Williamsport South/Nittany Mountain KOA Holiday, Riverside Campground, Sheshequin Camp Ground, and the two Hidden Valley properties, take reservations directly through their own websites or phone lines. Book Loyalsock Creek and Endless Mountains sites well ahead for July, August, and the first two October weekends.
