Campgrounds and RV parks near Marietta, PA

Marietta sits on the east bank of the Susquehanna River in northwestern Lancaster County, roughly midway between Lancaster and Harrisburg and about a fifteen-minute drive from Hershey. The location puts RV renters within easy reach of Pennsylvania Dutch farm country, Susquehanna River access points, and central Pennsylvania's biggest family attractions, all from a compact base of private campgrounds along the river corridor and inland toward Elizabethtown and Manheim. The closest option is Bainbridge Rock Quarry Campground, a small riverside property just upstream from Marietta in Bainbridge. Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA Holiday and Hershey Road Campground sit a short drive north toward Hersheypark, while Pinch Pond Family Campground and PA Dutch Country RV Resort lie east toward Manheim and the Lancaster attractions corridor. Most parks in the area are privately operated and cater to families and weekend travelers. Reservations run through each campground's own website or phone line rather than a central state system, and full-hookup pull-through sites are common enough to make big-rig access straightforward.

All five campgrounds on this page are private operations, so reservations go through each property's own website or phone line rather than a state or federal portal. Pennsylvania's state park system uses a separate booking platform for public campgrounds elsewhere in the region, but none of the closest options to Marietta fall under it. For summer weekends, book as early as the calendar allows, especially for sites with full hookups or waterfront placement. Weeknight availability is usually easier to secure inside two weeks. When calling, confirm rig length limits, whether the site is pull-through or back-in, and any restrictions on generators, pets, or guests. Most parks in Lancaster and Dauphin counties require a deposit at booking and enforce a cancellation window before refunds apply.
