Campgrounds and RV parks near Pine Ridge, PA

Pine Ridge sits in Pike County in northeastern Pennsylvania, minutes from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and within easy reach of the Pocono Mountains. The area combines river access along the Middle Delaware, forested federal and state lands, and a mix of private RV parks and National Park Service campgrounds. It is a common weekend destination for travelers coming from the New York City metro, northern New Jersey, and eastern Pennsylvania. RV travelers have several options within a short drive. Timothy Lake North RV and Timothy Lake South RV offer sites inside a private resort community. Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA Holiday provides full-hookup sites with standard KOA amenities. Dingmans Campground is a 65-acre, 134-site rustic campground located along the Delaware River in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, with quick access to waterfalls and hiking trails inside the recreation area. The surrounding region is heavily wooded, hilly, and dotted with lakes, so travelers should plan for winding two-lane roads and limited cell service in some pockets.

Private campgrounds in this area take reservations directly through their own websites or by phone. Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA Holiday uses the standard KOA reservation system, and Dingmans Campground manages bookings through its own website at dingmanscampground.com. Timothy Lake North RV and Timothy Lake South RV are part of a private resort community and require reservations through the resort. For nearby public lands, Pennsylvania state park sites can be reserved up to 11 months in advance through the Pennsylvania State Parks reservation portal. Popular weekends, especially Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and October foliage weekends, should be booked as early as the window allows, and travelers with larger rigs should confirm site length and hookup type before finalizing.
