Campgrounds and RV parks near Wrightsville, PA

Wrightsville sits on the west bank of the Susquehanna River in York County, directly across from Columbia in Lancaster County. The area works well as a base for RV travelers because it puts the river, Lancaster's Amish Country, Hershey attractions, and Gettysburg all within an hour's drive. Susquehanna Riverlands State Park lies just outside town, offering rock-outcrop overlooks and riverfront trails for day use. Campground options within a short drive range from primitive quarry-side sites to full-service resorts. Bainbridge Rock Quarry Campground sits north of town along the Susquehanna in Lancaster County, on the site of a former rock quarry now used for scuba diving. Otter Creek Campground lies south along the river in York County and borders both the Susquehanna and Otter Creek. Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA Holiday, Hershey Road Campground, and Circle M RV and Camping Resort round out the mix with pools, cabins, and planned activities. The region is well suited to families in an RV: paved highways, dense grocery and hardware coverage, and multiple state parks within reach make trip logistics straightforward.

Booking systems vary by operator. Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA Holiday accepts reservations online, by phone, or through the KOA App, and lists sites for tents, RVs up to big-rig length, and deluxe cabins. Circle M RV and Camping Resort is part of the Thousand Trails network and follows a first-come, first-served site selection policy for members; non-members can reserve directly with the resort. Otter Creek Campground requires a one-night deposit, and holiday weekends require a three-night minimum with full payment in advance. Cancellations need seven days' notice for a refund less a handling fee; less than seven days' notice means no refund or credit. Bainbridge Rock Quarry Campground takes reservations by phone at 717-426-2114. For summer weekends and any holiday, book eight to twelve weeks ahead to secure a full-hookup site.
