Such a great experience! The trailer was amazing and made our camping experience a 5-star! Tim is so good - he is responsive and very kind. Don’t do what we did though - book a site without hydro 🙈! Tim came through for us though - making sure we had batteries to keep the lights on 💡!

We had such a great stay here! The trailer is very well cared for - clean, cozy, and truly pet friendly, which made the trip so much more enjoyable for us and our pup. We opted for delivery since our car isn’t capable of towing a trailer, and the whole process was incredibly smooth and convenient. Tim made everything easy from start to finish. He also helped us set up the trailer perfectly, and we all slept comfortably through the nights even during heavy rainy. We would absolutely do it again and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family looking for a fun and easy camping experience!

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Wasaga Beach, ON

How much does it cost to rent an RV in Wasaga Beach, Ontario?

Good news: an RV rental in Wasaga Beach is often cheaper than a beachfront hotel, especially for families. On RVezy you'll typically find travel trailers from around $90 to $180 per night, campervans from $130 to $220, and larger Class C motorhomes from $180 to $300 per night, depending on season and amenities. July and August (peak beach season) are the priciest weeks, so you'll save the most by booking a shoulder-season trip in June or September when Georgian Bay is still warm. Pro tip: filter for Instant Book and look for hosts offering weekly discounts. Many Wasaga Beach hosts also include extras like beach chairs, paddleboards, or bikes, which stretches your budget even further.

Do I need a special license to rent an RV in Wasaga Beach?

Great news: for almost every RV rental in Wasaga Beach, your regular full Ontario Class G driver's license is all you need. Ontario allows you to drive any motorhome up to 11,000 kg, plus standard travel trailers and fifth wheels, on a full Class G. Visiting from another province, US state, or abroad? Your equivalent home license works under reciprocity, and international visitors should pair it with an International Driving Permit (IDP). On RVezy, you'll also need to be 25 or older, with ID confirmed through the platform during booking. That's it, no commercial license or RV endorsement required for the typical Class B, C, or travel trailer you'll see listed in Wasaga.

What if I need to cancel my Wasaga Beach RV trip?

Can the RV be delivered and set up at my campground in Wasaga Beach?

Yes, RV delivery in Wasaga Beach is one of the most popular options on RVezy, and it's ideal if it's your first time renting an RV. For most Wasaga Beach RV trip itineraries, the included mileage is plenty: it's roughly 25 km to Collingwood, 30 km to Blue Mountain, 55 km to Awenda Provincial Park, 65 km to Midland and Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, and about 150 km back to Toronto. Where are the best campgrounds near Wasaga Beach to park my RV?

You have great choices for RV camping in Wasaga Beach. Popular private campgrounds include Cedar Grove Park Resort, Wasaga Pines Family Campground on County Road 92, and Countrylife RV Resort, all with full or partial hookup sites within a short drive of the beach. Note that Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is day-use only and does not offer overnight camping, so for an RV stay you'll book one of the private parks above, or head to Craigleith Provincial Park (around 30 km west) or Awenda Provincial Park (around 55 km north) for Ontario Parks camping with RV-friendly sites.

When is the best time to plan an RV rental in Wasaga Beach?

The best time for an RV rental in Wasaga Beach is from late June through early September, when Georgian Bay water temperatures are warm enough for swimming and daytime highs typically range from the low to mid-20s Celsius. July and August are peak season, so book early for the best selection and pricing. June and September are excellent shoulder-season options with fewer crowds, milder weather, and often better nightly rates from hosts. Spring and fall can still be great for hiking and cycling around the Blueberry Plains and Nottawasaga River, just pack layers for cooler nights.
