Shadi and Troy are great to work with. They are great communicators and responsive. Prior to to the trip they provide a 10 page brief overview of the RV. The RV itself was clean and easy to drive. There was an issue with the leveling jacks on our trip and Troy drove down personally the next day and fixed the issue after he attempted to resolve the problem over the phone. Troy is very easy going and friendly. Highly recommend renting from them. They will be my 1st call next time I need a RV for a trip.

Angel 😇 Life Saver ⛑️ Great Communication 📲📞 Informative 📚 PUNCTUAL ⏳️ Just a few words to describe this wonderful Host. When my prior host backed out and canceled on me the day of (There was no communication up til 48hrs before trip, and stopped again the morning of. I reached out for clarification and location, no response! Moments later Rveezy tells me the host is no longer comfortable with accommodating us) Evgeniy not only responed within 5min of me reachout out, but had us out and on the road to enjoy out trip within an hour. The vehicle is perfect, clean and easy to function. We had never driven or worked an RV before but his quick rundown and eargeness to answer any questions helped put out minds at ease. He is so kind, professonal, and absolutely Amazing 🤩. We will definitely rent from him again despite our extra charges for not having time to thoroughly clean out and fill up; but that was a very small price to pay for what we would have missed if he hadn't come to help us out of a pickle. They only gave the options of 5 stars so I'll leave the rest here : ✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️⭐️🌟✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️⭐️🌟✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟✨️⭐️🌟✨️⭐️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️🌟⭐️✨️

Frequently asked questions about renting an RV in Danville, CA
How much does it cost to rent an RV in Danville, and are there ways to save?
RV rental in Danville is approachable for most budgets. Travel trailers typically start around $100 to $150 per night, while motorhomes generally range from $175 to $300 per night depending on size and season. Rates rise in summer and around Bay Area holidays, so booking in spring or fall often unlocks better deals. Weekday stays and longer rentals frequently come with lower nightly rates, and many hosts include kitchen basics and camping chairs to help you save on extras. Booking your Danville RV trip early also locks in availability for popular getaways toward Lake Del Valle or Mount Diablo.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Danville,CaliforniaWhat license do I need to rent an RV in Danville?
A regular driver's license is all you need to rent an RV in Danville, with no special or commercial endorsement required for standard rentals. RVezy approved drivers are typically 25 or older, and your license is verified directly through the platform during booking. International visitors should bring their home country license along with an International Driving Permit. Once verified, you're ready to head out to Mount Diablo State Park or beyond with confidence.

Every RV rental in Danville booked through RVezy includes a renter protection plan covering accidental damage, liability, and other unexpected mishaps, with multiple coverage levels to match your trip. 24/7 roadside assistance is included with your protection plan, so help is just a call away if you get a flat tire near Las Trampas Regional Wilderness or lock your keys in the RV at a Walnut Creek trailhead. Choose the plan that fits your comfort level at checkout and enjoy your Danville RV trip with peace of mind.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I cancel my RV rental booking in Danville if my plans change?
Yes. RVezy applies a standard cancellation policy to every booking, so you'll know exactly what to expect if plans shift. Full refunds are available within the grace period after booking, and reduced refunds may apply depending on how close to the trip date you cancel. Cancellations are handled directly in your RVezy account dashboard, and the full policy is shown during checkout before you confirm. Review the details before booking your stay at Del Valle Regional Park so you can travel with confidence.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037736674-Understanding-the-cancellation-policy-for-guestsAre there pet-friendly RV rental options in Danville, and where can I camp with my dog?
Yes. Use the pet-friendly filter on RVezy to find Danville RV rentals where dogs are welcome, then confirm any specific pet rules with your host. Once on the road, Del Valle Regional Park allows leashed dogs on most trails and has a designated dog swim area, Anthony Chabot Regional Park welcomes leashed pets at the campground, and the Iron Horse Regional Trail through Danville is a great spot for daily walks. Pack a leash, waste bags, and a water bowl, and your four-legged companion is all set for the trip.
ebparks.org/parks/del-valleCan I have my RV delivered and set up in Danville or nearby campgrounds?
Yes. Many Danville hosts offer RV delivery, so your rental can be brought to your driveway or directly to a campground such as Del Valle Regional Park or Anthony Chabot Regional Park. Hosts typically handle leveling, hookups, and a full walkthrough on arrival, which is ideal for first-time renters or anyone who would rather skip driving a large rig through Bay Area traffic. Use the Delivery filter when searching, then coordinate your preferred drop-off location and time with the host before booking.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Danville,CaliforniaAre there RV rentals in Danville with unlimited mileage, and how far can I drive?
Some Danville RV rentals include unlimited mileage, while others offer a generous daily allowance with a small fee for extra miles. Use the mileage filter on RVezy or message the host directly to confirm before booking. With reasonable mileage, an RV road trip from Danville opens up Yosemite National Park (about 3.5 hours away), Big Sur (around 3 hours), and Lake Tahoe (roughly 3.5 hours). Review the mileage details on each listing so you can plan your California adventure with no surprises.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Danville,CaliforniaWhat are the best campgrounds near Danville for RVs, and do I need to reserve ahead?
Top RV-friendly campgrounds near Danville include Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore (lakeside sites with water and electric hookups), Anthony Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley (oak-shaded sites with hookups), and Brannan Island State Recreation Area in the Delta (water and dump station available). Reserve well ahead through ReserveCalifornia for state parks and reservations.ebparks.org for East Bay Regional parks, especially for spring, summer, and fall weekends. Weeknights are typically quieter and easier to book on short notice.
reservecalifornia.com/What's the best time of year for an RV trip in Danville?
Spring and fall are ideal for RV camping near Danville. March through May brings wildflowers on Mount Diablo and comfortable daytime highs in the mid-60s to upper 70s Fahrenheit, while September and October offer warm, dry weather and golden hills. Summer days can climb into the 90s inland, which is great for swimming at Del Valle but worth booking shaded sites early. Winters are mild and rarely freeze, though December through February brings most of the region's rainfall, so pack accordingly.
weather.gov/mtr/I've never rented or driven an RV before. Will I get an orientation?
Yes. Every RV rental in Danville on RVezy includes a host-led walkthrough at pickup, covering hookups, slide-outs, beds, the generator, water systems, and other essentials. Hosts are used to working with first-time renters, so bring your questions and take notes or photos as you go. Many Danville listings are under 30 feet, which is a comfortable size for newcomers driving Bay Area roads. With host guidance plus RVezy's 24/7 support line, you'll feel confident from pickup to drop-off on your first family RV trip.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/categories/360002180233-RentersWhat if something goes wrong during my Danville RV rental trip?
Help is always close at hand. Every RVezy booking with a protection plan includes 24/7 roadside assistance for issues like flat tires, lockouts, battery jumps, or running out of fuel, whether you're near San Ramon Central Park or heading up to Mount Diablo. For mechanical or trip questions, your host is your first point of contact, and RVezy's support team is available throughout your trip. Save the roadside and support numbers from your booking confirmation before you hit the road.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/34008759079835-RVezy-renter-protection-plans-in-detailCan I take my RV rental out of California or across state lines from Danville?
Many Danville hosts allow travel throughout California and into neighboring states such as Nevada and Oregon, making trips to Lake Tahoe, Reno, or Crater Lake possible. Travel into Mexico is generally not permitted, and insurance coverage applies within the United States and Canada. Each listing sets its own travel range, so message the host to confirm your route and any mileage considerations before you book.
help.rvezy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039340074-Insurance-coverage-validityHow much should I budget for fuel when renting an RV in Danville?
Most motorhomes average 8 to 12 mpg, and smaller campervans can stretch to 15 to 20 mpg. For a roundtrip from Danville to Yosemite Valley (about 340 miles), budget roughly $140 to $215 in fuel at current California gas prices near $5 per gallon. Top off at larger stations along I-680 or I-580 before heading into the Sierra or rural areas where pumps are spaced farther apart. Add a buffer for hill climbs toward Mount Diablo or the Sierra foothills.
energy.ca.gov/data-reports/energy-almanac/transportation-energy/california-gasoline-data-facts-and-statisticsHow far in advance should I book campgrounds near Danville for my RV trip?
For peak-season weekends at popular spots like Del Valle Regional Park, Anthony Chabot Regional Park, and Brannan Island State Recreation Area, reserve as early as possible. California State Parks release reservations up to six months in advance through ReserveCalifornia, and East Bay Regional Park District sites can be booked through reservations.ebparks.org. Weekday stays usually have more availability and are a great option for last-minute Danville RV trips.
reservecalifornia.com/What local driving challenges should I expect when renting an RV in Danville?
Danville's main streets are RV-friendly, but the historic downtown along Hartz Avenue has tight turns and limited parking, so larger rigs are best parked at a campground or staging area. I-680 through the San Ramon Valley sees heavy commute traffic on weekday mornings and late afternoons, so aim to travel midday or after 7 p.m. The road up South Gate Road to Mount Diablo summit is steep, narrow, and winding, so drive slowly, use pullouts, and check height clearances. A truck or RV GPS app helps avoid low underpasses on Bay Area side streets.
danville.ca.gov/715/Traffic-EngineeringDo Danville-area campgrounds have amenities like hookups and dump stations?
Yes. Del Valle Regional Park offers sites with water and electric hookups plus a dump station, and Anthony Chabot Regional Park has water and electric sites along with a dump station on the way out. Brannan Island State Recreation Area provides potable water fill and a dump station, with some sites offering hookups. Most campgrounds include picnic tables, fire rings, and restrooms. Always confirm the specific site type when booking so you can pack and plan your Bay Area RV rental accordingly.
ebparks.org/parks/del-valleWhat features and amenities come with a typical RV rental in Danville?
Most Danville RV rentals come fully equipped with sleeping areas (ranging from bunks to queen beds), a kitchen with fridge, stove, and often a microwave, an interior bathroom with shower, heating, and seatbelted seats for every traveler. Larger motorhomes commonly add air conditioning, awnings, generators, and outdoor speakers, while many hosts include extras like camp chairs, kitchen kits, and outdoor mats. Use the amenities filters on RVezy to match a rig to your trip, and check the listing details to see exactly what's included.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Danville,CaliforniaWhat extra options or add-ons can I choose for my Danville RV rental?
Many Danville hosts offer practical add-ons such as kitchen kits, linen and bedding packages, outdoor tables and chairs, firewood, bike racks, and even kayaks or paddleboards for trips to Lake Del Valle. You can also request RV delivery and setup, choose flexible pickup and drop-off times, and select extra mileage or generator hours if needed. Available add-ons appear during the booking process, so review them before checkout to tailor your Bay Area road trip.
rvezy.com/rv-search?SearchAddress=Danville,CaliforniaHow does payment and the security deposit work for my Danville RV rental?
Booking on RVezy is fully online: you pay for your Danville RV rental securely through the platform, with the booking amount typically split between an initial payment and a balance due before the trip. A refundable security deposit is held separately before pickup and released after the RV is returned on time and in the agreed condition. Following the host's fuel, mileage, and cleaning guidelines helps you get the full deposit back. You can review the deposit amount and payment schedule anytime in your RVezy account dashboard.
